THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN BY OPALE FRANK

CHAPTER ONE The question of who a virtuous woman is, and has been a resounding one in the past, and contemporary times. However, why would scripture place emphasis on the need for every man to find a virtuous woman? This question not many people are able to answer. The character of every virtuous woman makes the marital journey beautiful, inspiring and effortless. Virtue is found in the state of the heart, and just like virtuous women, so do virtuous men too exist, although the focus of this book is on the virtuous woman. Each virtuous woman is holistic and complete in the character that builds them, and the distinction between them from the rest of the women is that they possess what other women do not. A woman, lady or girl may ask, is it possible for me to become a virtuous woman? The answer is YES, it is possible. Firstly, it is important to understand why God created woman. GENESIS 2:18 says, “Now the Lord God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper MEET (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.” This therefore calls for man to firstly understand himself, then he will be able to find a virtuous woman meet for him. Why? Because not every Page | 3 virtuous woman is meant for you, and that is why, you are set on the course of finding a specific one among the many, one who will better you. One may ask, do virtuous women exist? Yes, they do and will always exist. What then hinders some men from finding them? 1. Blindness Many are times when what we are looking for is closer to us than we expected, but then one gets blinded to the same due to many reasons, for instance, the inability to hear God’s Voice, looking from without than within, walking in the effect of past emotions, or even stereotyping. 2. Impatience Quite for some, because of what to them is delayed response from her, have walked away from what was meant for them. I know that love is an emotional journey, but again, one should be able to embrace the grace that comes along with it because 1 CORINTHIANS 13:4 says, “Love is Patient”. Page | 4
Page 6
3. Despair Life at times comes along with hard questions which often mount up to pressure. For instance, age to some has driven them into opting for anyone who comes their way, and for this, they have abandoned the original course of searching to find themselves a virtuous woman. 4. Ignorance Just like the question posed earlier, many men do not know the importance of finding a virtuous woman, therefore, they set for themselves “qualities” that match their expectations as to what type of woman they want and not necessarily what God wants for them. 5. Low self-esteem Some men find challenges in expression which is caused by various reasons, for instance, their upbringing, background, listening to nonBiblical dogma and psychological harm causing them to disqualify themselves as undeserving from their point of view. 6. Pride This is the one factor that has denied some men from virtuous women. It is not compulsory that a virtuous woman must accept whoever comes-by, this is because they too have the choice on who to them qualifies to be a fitting virtuous man. Page | 5 7. Timing It is an earthly law for everyone to reap what they sow, and for this, time is of essence. This means that what ones uses of the time accorded to them will determine the outcome, as seen by some men misusing their opportunity and later regretting. Furthermore, some men either delay or rush in their approach and therefore fail to subject women to certain tests, for instance, “to what extent she loves people.” 8. Lack of prudence SONG OF SOLOMON 8:4 says, “I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you never stir up or awaken love until it pleases.” This calls for men to discern how important it is to sow the right seeds at an appropriate time. Love has a timing which must align to God’s, Who makes everything beautiful in His time [ECCLESIASTES 3:11]. Therefore, some men have caused women to awake love before the right timing hence frustrating what was still processing to virtue. 9. Peer pressure Many men have often been influenced by their peers or those with authority over them, to do things so as to please them but not necessarily out of their will. This in most cases has forced some men into marrying the wrong partners, and even choosing to settle for less, rather than a virtuous woman. Page | 6
Page 8
10. Lack of discipline This entails the ability to speak up for oneself. Some men have been found to have an imbalanced judgment in response hence not responding at all. For instance, some cannot say “no” to a woman and rather are dominated due to the “conscience question” of not wanting to “offend”. It is important for a man to say enough of a relationship that is not working and choose to wait on God for the best there is for them; which is a virtuous woman. 11. Self-centeredness This though quite similar to low self-esteem differs in the way that some men have always let their interests override those of a virtuous woman and hence lost balance in the relationship due to their ego. 12. Arrogance An arrogant man will always deter people because arrogance repels. Marriage calls for one to let go of certain characters and embrace change. This, some men are not able to take, because again some consider women as a weaker vessel in the sense that their opinions are inferior in substance and weight, which is a wrong perception. Page | 7 13. Inflexibility Some men have been offended mainly due to character issues. Inflexibility in this sense has denied many men of virtuous women because they might win the poll but her silence took note of every single detail of one’s character. 14. Multiplicity of choices PROVERBS 14:20 says, “the rich has many friends.” So it is that many men face a great challenge in decision making as to who their wife to be is. This has pushed some to place of choosing by the carnal senses hence a misdirection from the choice of the virtuous woman. 15. Beauty Although many men fall for beauty, few appreciate the fact that beauty is vain as per PROVERBS 31:30. As stated earlier, a virtuous woman is holistic in character and qualities, implying that beauty is not a standalone test for the virtuous woman. 16. Lack of perception and discernment The deception of the times; hypocrisy, has led many men into misjudging things, and this is caused by lack of perception. Perception is something important for everyman to have, because it will save them from what is usually hidden from the normal eyes and senses. Page | 8
Page 10
For instance, smiling, kneeling or even outward temperance do not mean that one is a virtuous woman hence the need for perception and discernment. 17. Disobedience to spiritual promptings In life, one moment can be a defining factor to the many years ahead. In EXODUS 2:16-21 Moses at the well stood up, and helped Reuel’s daughters who were driven away by shepherds, and further watered their flock. This though to one might have been minor, but it opened a door for him to be given a hand in marriage to Zipporah by her father. Spiritual prompting is when God with urgency demands one to do or say something without even them having a full comprehension of the entire outcome from the prompt. Some men ignoring such instructions has caused them unnecessary delays hence frustrating what should have come easily. 18. Inability to ponder on the silent instructions from God God usually gives people hints on who their marriage partner is. In ESTHER 2:15, Esther obtained favour before king Ahasuerus because she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the keeper of the women, advised. PROVERBS 25:2 says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” This knowledge is important for Page | 9 men because as kings, they are naturally meant to be seekers, and as scripture says, he who seeks surely finds. In addition to the above, just like Samson, some men have misused secrets by uttering them out and hence have been deceived into awkward predicaments of life. 19. Self-control issues This plays out in many dimensions, for instance, the inability to control anger, stay humble, or control the tongue. It is further depicted with how one lives their life. 1 CORINTHIANS 13:11 says, “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside.” Therefore, at a certain age certain things are not expected of men. 20. Forgetfulness PROVERBS 5:18 says, “Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth.” Much as many people truly come from far, some of them are quick to forget where they have come from and who stood with them during the hard and trying times. This has been met by certain men engaging in extramarital affairs rather than staying in the first marriage, which is wrong. Page | 10
Page 14
What is the Biblical teaching on marriage? 1. Marriage is God’s idea MATTHEW 19:3-8 says, “The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?” And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He Who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.” They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.”” The last statement captivates my heart, for it says, “but from the beginning it was not so”. This simply means that we have to always rely solely on what the Scripture says and not what man says because God authored marriage and defined how it is to be conducted to the minutest detail hence there is no need for any further interpretation of what is plainly elaborated in the Word of God. Page | 13 2. Marriage is the mystery of the Unity of Christ and the Church EPHESIANS 5:31-32 says, “For this cause shall man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and the two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” For one to have a full understanding of what the Scriptures call “one flesh”, they must first understand the relationship between Christ and the church. Much as from man came woman, and so did the church from Christ, the distinction is laid out in the sacrifice that Jesus died for the church [JOHN 19:30], whereas for man, he did not take up or mediate on behalf of woman [GENESIS 3:12]. This is the reason as to why we draw the mystery of marriage from the Unity, Relationship and the Love of Christ and the Church. 3. Marriage is witnessed by God GENESIS 2:22 says, “Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.” Here we see that God Himself officiated and witnessed the marriage between man and woman, so does He still do today. 4. Marriage is blessed by God In GENESIS 2:24 God said, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” This Page | 14
Page 16
is why MARK 10:9 says, “Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.” In addition to the above, GENESIS 1:28 says, “Then God blessed them, and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”” 5. Marriage is holy HEBREWS 13:4 says, “Marriage is honourable among all, and the bed undefiled.” It is only in marriage that the bed is undefiled by intimacy. Furthermore, marriage is the seal of a sacred relationship. Above are some of the Biblical teachings on marriage. With emphasis, there is a great need for all people to learn to read the Word of God for themselves because we live in the era “where it is spoken, or it was said by” sounds ultimate rather than, “It is written”. It is also prudent for all people to allow the Holy Spirit to infuse the understanding of Scripture into them. Page | 15 CHAPTER THREE Before delving into the gist of this book, it is important to know that it is not late for one to subject themselves to the process that makes the virtuous woman of women. The Characteristics or qualities possessed by the Virtuous Woman. i. LOVE It is firstly important to appreciate the fact that Love is what makes the marriage. AMOS 3:3 asks a profound question saying, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” Therefore without love, it will only be a matter of time. 1 PETER 4:8 says, “Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” In other words, the pillar of Love is the substance through which every virtuous woman is made of. This kind of Love is the God kind, called AGAPE. It is multi-faceted and dimensioned just as elaborated by EPHESIANS 3:18 speaking of it having breadth and length and height and depth. Marriage does not make one what they are not already, in other words for two to become one flesh, there should be a place of breaking, flexibility and compromise whenever demanded. This may mean Page | 16
Page 18
choosing to unlearn what one seems to know so as to allow oneself to learn the new. Love is the Mantle upon all virtuous women. This transcends the hypocritical kind that seeks praises from men but deep in the heart, one is so full of hatred. Below are some of the dimensions of her Love. a) Forgiving EPHESIANS 1:7 says, “In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Virtuous women carry the wells of forgiveness, for they forgive easily and forget the past wrongs so as to embrace the future. This forgiveness flows so naturally from and within them, for there is nothing they cannot forgive. This is because of the wells of Love from which they drunk; which is Christ. b) Calmness 1 SAMUEL 1:6, 7 speaks of how Peninnah constantly provoked Hannah for not having child, and never is it written that Hannah fought or engaged in a brawl with her but alternatively she turned to the LORD to Whom she poured out her heart. Page | 17 All virtuous women are calm in character, and cannot easily be provoked, this is because they have rule or mastery over their spirit. c) Kindness In RUTH 3:3-11 Naomi instructed Ruth to show kindness to Boaz who later blessed her acknowledging that she was a virtuous woman. It says, “So she went down to the threshing floor and did according to all that her mother-in-law instructed her… Then he said, “Blessed are you of the LORD, my daughter! For you have shown more kindness at the end than at the beginning, in that you did not go after young men, whether poor or rich. And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman.”” As seen above, kindness is the nature of all virtuous women. d) Covenant keepers Their word is stronger than a contract because of the depth anchored in it. RUTH 1:8-22 speaks of Naomi and her two daughters-in-law namely Orpah and Ruth who both lost their husbands. She later entreated them to return to their people because of how hard the situations of life were, and this what Scripture says. “But Naomi said, “Turn back, my daughters; why will you go with me? Are there still sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands? Turn back, my daughters, go—for I am Page | 18
Page 20
too old to have a husband. If I should say I have hope, if I should have a husband tonight and should also bear sons, would you wait for them till they were grown? Would you restrain yourselves from having husbands? No, my daughters; for it grieves me very much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD … Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.” And she said, “Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.” But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried. The LORD do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me.” When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she stopped speaking to her.” When she gives you her word, there is no need to doubt it because of how firm and unshakable it is. e) Joy PROVERBS 12:4 says, “A virtuous and worthy wife is a crowning joy to her husband.” Joy is the one thing that cannot be faked. Page | 19 A virtuous woman is filled with joy, and diffuses it everywhere she goes and to all people including her husband. I have seen people who have never smiled all their life turn to smile and be joyous just because they married a virtuous woman. f) Peace PROVERBS 3:17 says, “Her ways are highways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.” She is not only peaceful, but also a peace maker. When a virtuous woman enters one of the most unpeaceful families, there is a peace that comes into that family. Why? Because peace has come. g) Humility 1 PETER 5:5 speaks of how all people should clothe themselves with humility. Humility is the state of one’s heart. This is a strong pillar in discerning a virtuous woman, because no virtuous woman is proud. In ESTHER 1:9, and 12 queen Vashti missed it when pride caused her also to give a banquet at the same time when king Ahasuerus organized one, and further her refusal to turn up when required by the king nailed the peak of her pride. Page | 20
Page 22
In other words, a virtuous woman will always side with the husband no matter how shameful it is rather than publicly mocking or openly criticizing him amidst others. h) Silence ECCLESIASTES 3:7 speaks of one of the ancient wisdoms understood by all virtuous women; a time to keep silence and a time to speak. This is the one principle ordinary women do not understand, hence have been found to speak where they ought to have been silent, or even silent where they ought to have spoken. i) Giving PROVERBS 31:20 says, “She opens her hand to the poor, yes, she reaches out her filled hands to the needy whether in body, mind, or spirit.” It is an essential characteristic for all virtuous women to be generous to the needy. This is the nature of their heart; to have compassion on God. PROVERBS 19:17 says, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and that which he has given He will repay to him.” Page | 21 j) Repentance PROVERBS 31:12 says, “She does him good, all the days of her life.” This involves the ability to acknowledge wrong and embrace change for purposes of preserving the lovely relationship. It is an easy for a virtuous woman to take responsibility for a fault even though not committed by her, this is because of how sensitive and cautious they are. k) Instructible All virtuous women are easily instructible. In others words, they died to an argumentative spirit. PSALM 62:11 speaks of how God has spoken once and twice I have heard. Virtuous women are instructible because their heart is soft and their ears sharpened to listen with the readiness to execute instruction to the minutest detail. In GENESIS 18:1-8 when Abraham was visited by God, he instructed Sarah to quickly prepare three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes. This she did right away without questioning. l) Children lovers EXODUS 1:15-21 says, “The king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of Page | 22
Page 26
ii. WISDOM PROVERBS 3:15 calls wisdom by a feminine character “she, and her”, meaning that all virtuous women are endued with Wisdom. Just as verse 13 says that happy is the man who finds skillful and godly wisdom, so it is that men marry Wisdom. Just like love, wisdom is infinite in operation and specific in expression, and below are the various expressions of the same. i. God Reverence JOB 28:28 says, “The fear of the LORD is true wisdom.” This takes various dimensions, however briefly, PSALM 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” It is in all virtuous women to fear God, and this is expressed in their actions, words, and convictions. Page | 25 ii. Vision In LUKE 1:59-64 much as the angel of the LORD had appeared to Zacharias in verse 11-20 and muted him, the Bible says this of Elizabeth, “So it was, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child; and they would have called him by the name of his father, Zacharias. His mother answered and said, “No; he shall be called John.” But they said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who is called by this name.” so they made signs to his father—what he would have him called. And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, saying, “His name is John.” So they marveled. Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, praising God.” All virtuous women carry a distinct kind of vision which I could term as a prophetic mantle which also comes with the clarity of God’s Voice. In other words, it is in them to understand the unsaid and fully comprehend the said. This means that they do not require repetition of a matter because they are quick listeners. Page | 26
Page 28
iii. Conceiver Virtuous women are conceivers, for they carry the ability to bring to maturity that which was immature. LUKE 2:15-19 speaks of how the shepherds made known to Mary and Joseph what was told them by the angel of the LORD concerning baby Jesus, which marveled everyone who heard it, BUT Mary kept all those things and pondered them in her heart. These were the words declared, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, Who is Christ the LORD.” This required more than just mere excitement but extra protection to the Baby whose Purpose was way beyond the ordinary. Furthermore, virtuous women carry the ability to read in between the lines. They can know when a person is speaking the truth or not. iv. Builders This I firstly heard from my spiritual father Apostle Grace Lubega. Virtuous women carry gifted hands to pioneer great things. PROVERBS 31:16 says, “She considers a field and buys it; From her profits she plants a vineyard.” This means that they carry wisdom to execute all their plans. Page | 27 In addition to the above, virtuous women carry a financial discipline and independence as seen above. This includes an acuity in business, in other words, they are wealth makers. PROVERBS 18:22 says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD.” And chapter 10:22 speaks of God’s blessing saying, “It makes one rich, and does not come with sorrow.” v. Confession 2 KINGS 4:25-37 tells us of a Shunammite woman who had lost her son, but when asked by Gehazi about everything, her response was, “It is well” [verse 26], and in verse 28 she expressed to prophet Elisha what had happened, without uttering a negative confession (death). Virtuous women neither wail over situations, nor do they seek the world’s compassion, for they carry the strength to overcome challenges. PROVERBS 31:25 says, “she laughs without fear of the future.” vi. Cooking All virtuous women know how to cook. PROVERBS 31:15 says, “She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household.” My mother as a virtuous woman is the best person I know at cooking. This does not mean that they can prepare all dishes, but at least they can prepare something delicious for their household. Page | 28
Page 30
vii. Commanding respect PROVERBS 31:26 says, “When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.” Verse 22, “she dresses in fine linen and purple gowns.” In other words, she thinks (lives) royalty and is never intimidated by circumstances because she can blossom from anywhere. Verse 23, “Her husband is well known at the city gates, where he sits with the other civic leaders.” In other words, the works of her hands give pride to her husband among the community because of her high work ethic which exceeds even that of men. Virtuous women carry an aura that no ordinary woman does carry, they command a honour that can only come from God. viii. She knows her worth PROVERBS 31:10 says, “Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies.” The question is, if she is more precious than rubies, what then is her worth? MATTHEW 13:45-46 says, “Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!” Page | 29 In this narrative, it is no longer about possessions, or accolades, but it is about you. This is why man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two become one flesh. [GENESIS 2:24] ix. Excellence PROVERBS 9:1 says, “Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out her seven pillars.” Seven signifies perfection, in other words, everything she does is excellent. Furthermore, PROVERBS 24:3-4 says, “Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” The mere fact that wisdom ranks first in the hierarchy of knowledge and understanding, this means that virtuous women carry the substance required in the entire chain and cycle above. In other words, their houses are never empty or void of knowledge and understanding. Page | 30

It is a real story how a hen lived until it's death and a typical correlation with how some people live their lives.
This book further advises both parents and children on how important it is to have priorities in life.
It is an enjoyable book.

Beautiful it was in appearance, with so much expectations from the owner who is a brother of mine. Twenty one days, it took brooding its eggs. Tough it was, and each time after brooding, it rushed out of the house with so much vigour causing the rest of the hens and cocks to flee for safety. As it lay on its eggs, we too faced it roughly as its beak intercepted any approaching feet. Eventually, we had the chirping of the chicks. Regardless, it took three more days sitting on them with no food or drink, patiently waiting for each egg to hatch. On the third day, it moved out with eight chicks leaving four eggs unhatched. At twilight, due to the height of the door step, its chicks often got stranded, hence lingering outside until helped amidst heavy scratches from its mother. On the other hand, no hen, cock or other chicks (birds) could access the door which was under blockage by this hen. A few days later, these chicks too developed the strength and attitude to access the entrance with no need for assistance. However, I noticed a great change in this hens’ character ever since it hatched; everything became exclusive to it with its chicks, for instance, 2 | P a g e
Page 4
the feeder was fled from upon its sight by the other birds which posed a threat to all birds inclusive of the biggest cock which now became its puppet. Its presence in the compound was felt, and its chicks distinguishable from the rest due to their entitlement even with their mother at a distance. One day, a cat captured one of its chicks which we noticed having seen it chasing this cat wherever it went. Disappointing it was, to its owner who rescued this chick late having the cat’s teeth already chocked it to death. With seven chicks left, and to avert any further attacks from this cat, boundaries were erected hence a breather to this hen. About two weeks and a half later, Coccidiosis broke out in the area hence putting all bird owners on high alert. This however did not take long, when the neighbours’ outcry was heard, having this disease wiped out all their birds in just a few days. The birds which once loitered around now started to become scarce with the only option left to the owners being eating those mature since medication did not avail any quick recovery to the rapidly dying birds. Coccidiosis is a severe, fatal parasitic disease of the intestinal tract in poultry caused by Eimeria or Isospora protozoa which causes severe 3 | P a g e diarrhea, rapid weight loss, dehydration, among other effects, symptomized by bloody or mucus-filled droppings, ruffled feathers, pale combs, lethargy, decreased appetite, and huddling. (As per Google) Much as most birds at the neighbourhood had succumbed to this disease, none of our birds had yet been affected until a fateful afternoon when a neighbour came and told my mother that her birds were no longer safe. This notice to me was clear proof that our birds were the next which was evidenced by this specific hen being affected by swollen eyes on the next day. This intensity of this disease was not new to us since it once wiped out an entire compound filled with birds hence discouraging us from poultry keeping. My mother had just revived poultry keeping the previous year having missed chicken at a wedding party where chicken was served hence rejuvenating poultry keeping spirit for food consumption purposes. Upon us seeing this bird’s eye affected, we intensified on the treatment so as to avert any further possible effects on the rest of the birds which shared the same house. Medication did not seem to work on this hen hence the disease blinding both its eyes. 4 | P a g e
Page 6
This pitied us upon seeing a once vibrant mother hen totally weak with no appetite to eat but surrounded by its chicks jumping and sitting over it. With no way of explaining to the chicks about the risks they could face when affected by the same disease, we tried to separate this hen from its chicks however the chicks always found their way back to their ailing mother. Soon grief hit its owner who knew the consequences of this hen not eating would eventually lead to death. Much as we tried to forcefully feed it, it deliberately refused to eat due to appetite loss. On the next day, it died. I thought that its owner would be emotionally broken, however he woke up knowing what had happened as he claims to have dreamt about its death. This therefore meant Alas! To these chicks. When the rains fell, they were beaten with no thought of fleeing to any shade because they were raised to know that their mother would always cover them. We took up some of their mothers’ responsibilities, unfortunately, they too were already affected with this disease. Daily, they arose to sun bath until sunset with no appetite for food. 5 | P a g e One-by-one they died till the very last. All the other birds followed through a similar cycle, although we ate some for a meal before they died. REFLECTION After observing everything, I was sent to reflect on how many people live like this hen. It reminded me of the rich man’s cry to father Abraham in LUKE 16:2728 saying, “I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come this place of torment.” Lessons from this hen 1. Essence of character ECCLESIASTES 1:9 says, “That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.” This clearly teaches us to allow love lead our lives because to just imagine that we are not first to live on the surface of this earth and neither shall we be the last, is humbling. To daily watch this hen scratch the other hens denying them the opportunity to feed along with its chicks, and continuously chasing them 6 | P a g e
Page 8
away reminded me about how myopic some people choose to live their lives. At the time of this hens’ death, there was another hen with chicks almost the size of those it left behind, however, my belief is that if this hen had built a friendly relationship with the one that remained alive, perhaps it would foster its chicks, but only for the short-sightedness of the deceased hen which believed in its superiority and ego. Painful story my Uncle narrated to me He being a policeman and a crew member assigned to guard a certain judge told me of how they were mistreated, and how they were referred to as dogs by this judge. He narrates that one day as they sat next to the veranda at this judge’s residence, this judge while on the first floor called out his children and while leaning on the balcony pointed at these officers while telling his children, “I do not want you to be like those dogs”. The men and women whom he referred to as ‘dogs’ are the very people who offered him security inclusive of his very own family. This is how some people have chosen to be led by bad character rather than humility. 7 | P a g e 2. Always distance children from your issues I have seen parents who have always used their children as shields in matters beyond their mental ability to handle hence causing psychological torture to them and consequently mental health issues. Just like this hen which extended its chicks in a friendly manner towards it yet aware that it was affected by disease and as well knowing that these chicks would be prone to the same, so do many parents and guardians do to their children; encouraging them to follow the wrong path of life rather than standing up to correct them whenever they go wrong. It is divine wisdom to keep children neutral to whatever the parents are going through, and most importantly keeping them in a safe environment for their growth. For instance, no matter what a spouse has done, it is a wise thing to handle such issues outside the reach or hearing of the children. This is important because children are led by emotions and never about reason, so they can easily side with any parent or guardian, and for some end up carrying hatred and burdens in their hearts at a young age. 3. Teach your children to both know and love their relatives In this world, many families live in isolation from the people who really matter in life, and these are relatives. 8 | P a g e
Page 10
Some parents assume that staying away from their relatives is the solution to healing the past wounds, however this is wrong because like this hen which lived in isolation, its chicks ended up being so lonely in a compound they once possessed. The importance of relatives cannot be over emphasized, however one can learn from this real story. I once saw a man who for a long time built in town and had amassed a lot of wealth, however by the time he passed on, he had not left anything back in his village implying that he did not associate nor support anyone from his home family. This became a reproach to him though gone, for he was mocked by both his people back home, as well as his friends who wondered what manner of man the deceased was hence a lesson to many who ignore their homes, from where everything began. It also looks beautiful when a family is united and cooperative, for this inspires other families and people therefore bringing a good repute. I recently attended a function where the master of ceremony interjected any person who sought to expose the family’s shortcomings in the presence of guests. He often said, “You cannot wash the family’s undergarments in public”, which I believe is an important aspect calling for discernment as to the right forum to address specific issues. 9 | P a g e I always do tell people that problems should not be the motivation for a hypocritical and temporal unity, because as a family joy should be celebrated together with long-lasting unity and love. Imagine the joy found in celebrating an important event in life convened by most relatives. Relatives are important, and children should relate with them at all costs even if it means sending them for holidays back home, which should be emphasized by parents and guardians. I have been so disappointed by some children who can hardly speak their mother tongue. To some although given local names, do not take pride in being called by the same. All children should remember this, that they can never be wiser than their parents who named them even before they could become anything although exception is put to some names which are ungodly. I have seen some children getting praised for their inability to speak their local language which isn’t hilarious, because why would an elderly person be made to bend to a foreign language they hardly speak or understand instead of a child embracing the same for purposes of communicating to such elderly people. 10 | P a g e
Page 12
4. Always teach children to build their own legacies I love watching cartoons and one titled “Simba – the lion king” amuses me in that many people ride on the legacies of their parents, which is good. However when a child learns that they too have to build their own, this provokes them to do better and set a pace for the coming generations. When this hen died, it meant that an entire lineage was vulnerable to suffer the consequences of this loss. 5. Wisdom is the best Inheritance PROVERBS 24:3 says, “Through wisdom a house is built”. Many parents have invested most of their time in piling inheritance for their children instead of investing wisdom into them. I have seen children who have inherited great wealth from their parents only to squander it. Yes, wealth was left for them but not even the simplest of the wisdoms that ‘birth rights are not for sale’ was not deposited into them. If wisdom builds a house, then much emphasis should be placed to it by all parents because wisdom is justified by her children [LUKE 7:35]. In other words, your legacy will only be complete by the success of your children. 11 | P a g e 6. Hate is a divider whereas love is a reconciler There are homes where children from other homes are prohibited access, children advised to make friends with only the rich kids claiming that the poor ones are thieves or trash. A house of love will always be peaceable, filled with joy because love unites people, and attracts wealth and health. This hen did not have any friend and was proud to hate all the other birds on a fallacy assumption of protecting its chicks. It is therefore important to love people unconditionally regardless of the positive or negative energy they repay, because Jesus Christ teaches us to love both our friends and enemies [MATTHEW 5:44]. 7. Obscurity of the Future Just like this hen lived in an uncertainty of the days ahead of it, so do many people live. However, is this how life should be lived? Certainly not! For unbelievers, it is okay to live so, but for a Christian with a relationship with God, their future should not be a mystery but a mirror of what they already know. In other words, nothing should catch them off guard. 8. Committing children to God It is an important thing to give children a firm foundation of Christ, and this is why child dedication is an important aspect in a child’s life, because 12 | P a g e
Page 14
a child is committed to God Who is able to keep them even after their parents’ departure. It is further a necessity to ground children in the knowledge of Our Heavenly Father, GOD. This is important because as children grow up, they should be able to build their own personal relationship with God. This also relates to how much liberty is given to children by parents or guardians when it comes to the things of God. I am blessed to have parents who have always granted me unrestrained permission to freely serve God, and so should all parents grant to their children. 9. Preparation This is one of the most undermined aspect of life by most parents. They were raised to become what they are, but instead of doing the same to better their children, they have instead taken up both their roles and those of the children under their guardianship. This in the long run means that their children may not step up to be the best version of their parents. For instance, how many businessmen are into equipping their children with the business discipline? I can boldly say, they are few which risks the posterity of the wealth built. Therefore, children ought to be prepared for the days to come. 13 | P a g e 10. Leadership It is a devastating thing for parents to live all their livelihood as the only bridge to an already broken family just awaiting for their departure so as rekindle the former bitterness, hatred’s and unfinished wars. Parents should try as much as possible to create a chain of authority in their families, for instance, instil an undisputed voice with a similar finality of decision as theirs. Families with only people but without a leadership are like sheep at the mercy of wolves. In addition to the above, leadership should not be for positional purposes but a service and an accountable role to the people and vice versa. Children should be taught to obey those in authority since all leadership is God given, and with such morals, there is a guarantee for a better future to the children and a great joy to their parents in both their presence and absence. CONCLUSION The blessing of children is a true revelation of God’s love for the people as an extension of their work. In 2012 crossover into 1st January, 2013, there happened a tragedy in our house where my father was involved in a road accident that claimed the lives of three of his friends leaving three of them alive with two incapacitated. 14 | P a g e
Page 16
We grew up with our Mum and always missed our Dad whom we often engaged with on a phone call since he was always busy with his work which hardly gave him family time. When this accident happened, he says that he kept crying one thing, “my family, my family, my family, …” So emotional it was, as his last born like an angel came walking towards him, he narrates. This caused him to take us (his children) to where he stayed while he worked. We then got to understand how both parents’ love is important in a child’s life. Therefore, it is a divine call for all parents to create time for their families and children. I further call upon all children to dearly love their parents, guardians, sibling’s and all people because, “You will treasure life’s moments the day you understand that life is a journey of flashes” [82nd quote from The 138 Quotes by Opale Frank]. A story told me by my Mum She said that once lived two old women in a village separated by a thick forest. They loved each other and for a long time lived in different homesteads but often visited each other. 15 | P a g e One day, they suggested to live together due to the distances issues and old age. They shared responsibilities in an alternating manner since there was no one to assist them in their daily house work. After some time, one of them became severely ill, while the other was well. That evening, the sick one slept earlier leaving the other awake. The healthy one left the door open and awoke the ill one to close the door just because it was not her turn to close. They quarrelled about it and chose to just sleep with the door open. Later in the night a lion entered their grass thatched house and pulled out the sick one whose sleeping position was next to the door. As she wailed, the healthy one kept encouraging the lion to eat her because she neglected her duty of closing the door. She however still left the door open just because it was not her turn to close it, this lion after tearing the ill one into pieces, came for this healthy one who was also eaten. Why children? Society is filled with vulnerable people who really need help. These include; men, women, and children. Prioritizing children doesnot mean that the other categories of vulnerable people do not deserve urgent attention, however with time, there will be an expansion of this innitiative to include them too. Growth is such an important aspect that is worth the world’s attention because just like trees, a tree without roots is more of a structure without a system. Why Now? I have heard an opportunity to look through the society I live in, and as well made research on the world’s most populated societies and have come to a conclusion that it is a Divine Call from Heaven to reachout specifically to the children. Who is a child? A child is any vulnerable person who needs protection from a harmful society, and firstly, giving them Godly direction on how to go about life. This includes creating awareness campaigns on how important children are, and the need for a joint cause so as to ensure that all children feel loved. What is God’s mind concerning children? Children are a blessing from God [GENESIS 1:22]. What is Society’s perception about children? “My children are only those biological from my loins and womb”, “My children are only those of my brothers and sisters dear to me”, “My children are only those of my current wife, and for the wife who left (divorced), I do not recognize them”. But where does this mind leave the rest of the children? In LUKE 10:30-37 Jesus gives this beautiful parable of the Good Samaritan saying, “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ So which of these three do
Page 4
you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves? And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him,” “Go and do likewise.” Something special about the parable above is that, therein Jesus gives a clear pattern on how to efficiently helpout the needy. Things that stand out are, 1. Man is wounded, 2. A good Samaritan who wants to help, 3. There is an inn with a willing person to receive whoever comes in, 4. Oil and wine poured as a first aid, 5. Two denarii offered the inn keeper for maintenace of the wounded person, 6. This is concluded as mercy shown. Secondly, a good Samaritan is a chain of likeminded people with a common good, to help and support those in need without seeking to benefit from it. Why is this Innitiative Important? To hear a child cry is equivalent to hearing Jesus cry. In MATTHEW 18:5 Jesus says, “Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receieves Me.” How did Jesus deal with children? MATTHEW 19:13-15 says, “Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.” MATTHEW 14:15-21 says, “When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.” But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” How often do you show kindness to children? A child’s smile is one of the genuine and purest there is, which smile needs protection.
Page 6
My interaction with children for over twenty two years has proven to me that all children deserve to be loved, and that there is no child love cannot change. I believe deep inside your heart is the strong love for the children which is the essence of this Divine Innitiative. How do I see children? I firstly see them as my own, and secondly, I see them as my young self. Have I risked anything for the children? Yes, and still do, just like many of you do. What really is the mind behind loving and advocating for children? It is because children are The Heart Of GOD. God loves children, and just like JOHN 3:16 says that in God’s expression of His love for mankind, He gave us Jesus as the best Gift thereis and shall be, therefore our love for the children should be expressed WHOLEHEARTEDLY. What moments standout for me with the children? 1. Carrying them I grew up loving children’s smiles and realized that when I threw them upto the air, they gave me the best of their smile. One day as I streched out my hand to carry a naked baby, his (baby’s) mother told me that due to teeth growth, he was affected by a running stomach. I paid a deaf ear to it since the baby too had strectched out his hand towards mine. I threw him to the air and as he smiled back at me, he dirt my face. Hahaha, everyone laughed on, so did I. 2. Two Lost children In 2024, two young friends of mine found two young children, one aged two and ahalf years and the other aged one and ahalf years who had disappeared from their home in a densely populated area where we lived in. They made several announcements from about 4:00 hours to 9:00 hours. As it came to 10:00 hours, they came at our door knocking for me since their parents could not accept the responsibility of lodging these little ones. We reported the matter to the nearest police station, who reffered us to the other because they too did not want that responsibility. The one we went to also reffered us to the main which required moving outside this community as it was half a kilometer away. We boarded two motocycles and therein as we travelled the youngest smiled at me which smile stuck in my mind to date. Upon reaching this station, a statement was recorded and we were sent back since the Police Children’s Family Unit was locked by 11:00 hours, hence we returned with these children. The question in our minds was on how to lodge these children, since we were all under our parents households who for various reasons could
Page 8
hardly accept these children. I told these friends that l would take the responsibility. Upon reaching home, I did give them some small food as they looked hungry, they both once again smiled, I smiled back but knowing how much trouble I was already into since my parent was already furious. God is faithful, in that upon them finishing to eat, a call rung from the main police station that the children’s parents had arrived to the station. We took them there, and their parents were so happy, so were the children. We were thanked by them much as they did not have any monies to offer. To us, fulfilling what we had to do was enough since we knew that heaven has it recorded. Glory to God. 3. Sunday school lessons with the children This began by some parent requesting me to at least preach the Gospel to his young child aged six who was so notorious daily commiting offences such as theft, fights and verbal vulgar exchange with elders. This, she requested me as many times as I remember, however in my mind, I thought to myself that I was quite busy and engaged with academic schedules. In one moment as I reflected, I really felt the cry of this woman because I was once in a Sunday school class and I am a product of the work of the Gospel from such classes. Much as she permitted me to take this son-inlaw of hers to Church, I also realized that it is important for at least his parent or relative to move along with him. I also noted that the entire community needed the Gospel because children were left exposed to the harmful habits of the society. This caused me to start Sunday school lessons which was a replica of the lessons which happened at Church. I felt the impact of these lessons to these children who have daily requested for them (lessons). I also appreciate the willingness of their parents who have always sent their children for them. And there has been moral and spiritual transformation in these children. Glory to God. 4. Hi Five moments with children After the Sunday school lessons, sharing Hi Fives together gives me joy as children Hi five each other and me while smiling. 5. A crying child at the back of our house Around 2019, we heard a girl crying behind our house, she had run from her home due to domestic violence by her step-mother. It was around 11:30 hours. We reported the matter to our neighbors who were quite old in age but they did not give it any attention. I reached out to one of my neighbour, a girl who was my friend, she welcomed her and gave her accomodation for a night. Later in the morning, the matter was reported to police who reconciled her with the guardians. I thought to myself, why would such a young girl be exposed to a night’s lonliness?
Page 10
6. Giving to children Seeing a child helpless causes an emotional disturbance to my mind. I remember praying to God when I was twelve years telling Him, “LORD, when You make me wealthy, I will use all my wealth to help the Needy.” Every time, I see the needy, I give all I that I have unreservedely. My heart feels an emotional attachment to all the poor and vulnerable people. At times, am emotionally striken and take times to cry to God about people’s situations. Story of a young girls’ generosity In 2025 as I returned from school, a young school girl aged about eight to ten who was eating fried G-nuts mixed with maize was asked by one of the street children to give them something to eat. She scooped part of it and gave to them. This touched my heart, making me appreciate the parents of this child in their absentia because of how they raised their daugther to know that all people are equal. Story of a young boy stepped In most Cities in Uganda, are people often known as Karimojongs, who to us from Teso are our Uncle’s and Auntie’s. These though not all, do survive through hardships such as selling and sorting beans or G-nuts from the markets. While at Mbale, a young boy who had stretched his arm under a truck so as to pick a fallen banana that was beneath it, had his arm stepped by this car. His loud shout while undergoing intense pain broke my heart as I asked myself when would such reproach for an entire Region end? Who heard the Judge’s call? Yes, I did. While attending a High Court Criminal Session in 2024, which was a defilement case of a young girl aged ten years, where the accused pleaded guilty during plea taking. Her Ladyship Justice Margaret Mutonyi in anguish stated that something has to be done in line with Research as to the cause of and how to curb this vice, because 70% of the criminal cases handled are those of defilement. Where does this leave our Society? Where does it leave our children? Where does it leave our future? Is Caning children good? Certanly not! There is need to distinguish between disciplining and torturing. Disciplining is aimed at teaching a child the right path through love, whereas torturing is an expression of one’s anger. There is a better way to teach, and this is through love. Moses taught retaliation where as Jesus taught Love. Love is a Greatest Teacher because of it’s impact [LUKE 7:47].
Page 12
Are unborn babies children? Yes, they are. Every child when given an opportunity to live, are capable of becoming anything. In around 2019, my lovely mother while in tears cried after I preached to her the Gospel, and she narrated to me the reason as to why she cried. She told me of a relative and an elder then in the year 1999 into 2000 who pestered her to abort me because my Mum had recently given birth and quickly conceived me. She narrates being offered abortion herbs which she did take over and over again to a quantity enough to terminate a baby. She stated that at last she gave up on drinking these local herbs because of how bitter they were. I believe God as He always does had a Big Plan for my life, which I am grateful of, that I am alive today. My Mum did apologize to me, and she regretted saying she did not know who would have been preaching the Gospel to her, as I am her only child among the many, who preaches the Gospel. What is the Bibilical perspective about unborn babies? LUKE 1:44 says, “For behold, when the voice of your greeting came into my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy!” This means that they too understand and indeed are purposed to live on earth so as to accomplish the mandates and assignments God has placed upon their lives. In JEREMIAH 1:5 God says, “Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” This clearly shows us that children are a Plan and Work of God. In other words, no child is a mistake, and parents are just a conduit of God’s work. How many children are aborted daily? Abortion is a demonic activity aimed at frustrating God’s Work on Earth. To me there is pre-abortion, abortion and post abortion. Let us think it out together. Pre-abortion This is an activity that frustrates carrying a child, for instance, death of either parents before conception. This aborts a possible destiny of a child purposed to be on earth. GENESIS 38:9-10 says, “But Onan knew that the heir would not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in to his brother’s wife, that he emitted on the ground, lest he should give an heir to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD.”
Page 14
Abortion This is where a child is already in the womb and killed before birth time. JUDE 1:11 speaks of people who have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit. Balaam a prophet in the Old Testament still made reference of in the New Testament, who for a wage was willing to curse the children of Israel, but for God’s blessing upon them could not do it but taught Balak to put a stumbling block before them, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality [REVELATION 2:14]. This stumbling block would eventually arouse God’s anger against them hence their destruction. Balaam’s doctrine has been adopted through various sophisticated ways of conducting abortions. And for this, ROMANS 1:32 says, “knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” Post abortion This is where a child is born but unfortunately gets killed when still young. For instance, MATTHEW 2:16 says, “Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and sent out, and killed all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding countryside, from two years old and under, according to the exact time which he had learned from the wise men.” Many children are aborted daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, but again, is this what they deserve? Certainly Not! Becacuse they too like we are, deserve to live. It is suddening to imagine how many parents encourage their daughters to abort, how many boys force girls to abort, how many pharmacy’s (clinics and hospitals) and how many nations encourage abortion. For this must stop and only be excused for exceptional health circumstances. Why are Nations dealing with high crime rates? PROVERBS 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” This scripture calls for nurturing children when young so as to instill in them the discipline required for life. I have in pain observed the end of many, both young and old people who indeed I believe that if they had the opportunity of being raised well, they would still be alive today. Again to ask, how many people’s lives are affected daily by the bad actions of other people? When I look at Nations like America and some Continents like Europe, Asia, and Africa, and see how gun violence had ended the lives of prominent people whose impact to the world would be so much great, I
Page 16
feel suddened and burdened on how important Raising children is hence this Great Divine Initiative. To see the rise of Rappers and their short living on earth is heart breaking; to imagine how a person plots to kill another persons’ son and daughter is so frightening. These people killed are raising children, and taking care of multitudes of lives and families. Everyone deserves to live and no one deserves death. Every man, woman and child has a core – deep in their heart. This is the one that requires to be tamed while early because cores are what people are made of. To sit down and imagine how Adolf Hitler who once was in a Church chior could become such a worlds’ threat leaves questions on the impact of the irresponsibility of parenthood. Backtracking how much resources were gathered for fighting Covid-19 convinces me that the world can indeed deal with every problem but for direction on how to do it. And just like Joseph in GENESIS 41:54, I set myself to Globally Minister to the children. Is it possible to curb crime to Zero rate? Yes, it is. If we all took up this cause of advocating for the children, and teaching them right on the Godly path, there is an assurance that crime will be dealt with efficiently. Why are young children still nurtured into slavery? A woman goes to the village and requests a parent to let her young girl aged five who is not schooling to be allowed to go and stay in town with the aim of working as a maid. What a pain! To daily observe such a young girl dress up a woman’s children and escort them to school for a pay which directly goes to her parent is so saddening. I believe that every child deserves a better future and protection from such barbaric actions. What about the question of Irresponsible parenting? Do Nations forsake their responsibility upon people attaining the age of majority? Certainly, yes! This leaves many helpless in the unencumbered liberty of permissiveness. But again, is this right? I say, NO. A young man impregnate’s an entire village and is untouched. Drugs are supplied in broad-day-light leaving all age groups frail and exposed to addiction.
This Gospel Book speaks of how expensive a soul is, and how God treasures a soul thereby sending Jesus Christ His only Begotten Son to save it from Perishing.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE THING - THE SOUL by Opale Frank

Why this discussion? We live in the world where value is attached to almost everything, however many times what the world considers as value is in most cases valueless before God. In this world we have two kinds of existing things namely; the living and none living things. In GENESIS chapter 1 and 2 all other creatures were created with exception of the man in chapter 2 who God took time to form in verse 7 and woman in verse 22. One would think, because the earth had no form in GENESIS 1:2, therefore God should have taken time to form it however that was not the case because value can only be attached to the earth as long as man is in it. Man (includes woman) has a special Place with God. This David the Psalmist wonders in PSALM 8:3-4 saying, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?” The scripture right above carries God’s deepest emotions, and when GENESIS 3:9 says, “But the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you?” Here one would assume that God was asking an obvious question, however the truth is that Adam had died. This death came at a time when God had rested from His work as revealed in GENESIS 2:2 saying, “And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.” This was a place of testation to God whether He would continue at rest when His lovely work (man) is dead or He would redeem it at whatever cost. Surely God had to leave His rest because man had fallen, and JOHN 3:16 says, “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world (man) that He [even] gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” There is need to lay emphasis that the death with which man died was not in itself destruction because there was a possibility of redemption and this was done through Jesus Christ when He died on the cross for mankind. Jesus further explains the above aspect in JOHN 10:10 saying, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows.” This of essence implies that much as man fell in the Garden of Eden and died, man’s destruction is not yet but shall be at the end of the age. Jesus explained this end (destruction) in MATTHEW 10:28 saying, “And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul;
Page 4
but rather be afraid of Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell (Gehenna).” This is the END of man, however God expresses His heart in 1 TIMOTHY 2:4 saying “I will that all people be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.” For this cause, Jesus Christ spoke of the Holy Spirit saying in JOHN 16:8-9, “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me.” Believing in Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Saviour is the greatest gift you could ever give yourself. Why? Because it is the beginning of you living. When Jesus Christ walked the face of this earth a question of His rest (Sabbath) was raised in MATTHEW 12:1-5 and in response He said, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who accompanied him—how he went into the house of God and ate the loaves of the showbread—which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for the men who accompanied him, but for the priestly only? Or have you never read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple violate the sanctity of the Sabbath and yet are guiltless?” IN OTHER WORDS, Jesus was inviting them into understanding that when man fell, God left (abandoned) His rest therefore simply put, “there was no Sabbath to observe”. ACTS 17:30-31 speaks of the former days of ignorance saying, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to repent: because He has appointed a day, in which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man Whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” This Man Jesus is God in Trinity. He was, He is and shall be. Briefly, one would ask saying, Who is Jesus? He is the I AM. John the writer in JOHN 1:1-4, 14 by the Spirit describes Him saying, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Giving a little hint on verse 14 where, “the Word became flesh”. This conversation stems back to ISAIAH 6:8 saying, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us?” Explaining something. This was a Trinity Conversation; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Therein two questions are asked, 1. Whom shall I send, and 2. who will go for Us.
Page 6
Prophet Isaiah explains the answer to the first question saying in ISAIAH 40:3, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”” This meant that the Holy Spirit was sent with a message about the coming of Jesus Christ, Who through John the Baptizer, the message was proclaimed. The second question, who will go for Us, this John explained in JOHN 1:14 saying He took on flesh, and this is Jesus [JOHN 3:16]. No wonder in LUKE 1:41 when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and she filled with the Holy Spirit prophesied about the Christ. This was the greeting, “Good Morning Holy Spirit”, and He leaped for joy. Jesus in LUKE 19:10 explains why He came saying, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.” In other words because man fell, He had to come for his redemption. This 1 PETER 2:25 speaks of saying, “For you were going astray like sheep; but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” This means that the death of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection from the dead meant the beginning of a new life in Christ Jesus to all who believe in His name [2 CORINTHIANS 5:17]. Therefore, when He declared on the cross saying, “It is finished! [JOHN 19:30]” this meant that now we can boldly open up a conversation of His rest [Sabbath] and many more present truth realities. NOW, HEBREWS 4:3 says, “For we who have believed do enter into that rest.” Why Soul? It became a Heavenly Agenda as expounded above. If you want to know more about the soul, kindly look out for a YouTube sermon by my spiritual father Apostle Grace Lubega entitled “Phaneroo 173 – Spirit, Soul and Body.” MATTHEW 16:26 asks a Profound question saying, “For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” The conclusion of the matter is that, it is pride to reject Jesus Christ and humility to accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour. SELAH…
This Gospel Book speaks of how important Knowing God is before one seeks to Worship Him. It further reveals what Real Worship is; in Spirit and in Truth.

THE BEDROCK OF A WORSHIPPER by Opale Frank

Page 4
2. Worship is a Place. For one to worship, they must worship from a Place. PROVERBS 20:5 says, “Counsel in the heart of man is like water in a deep well, but a man of understanding draws it out.” So when Jesus met the Samaritan woman at a well, He opened her mind to the distinct Place of Worship which is drinking and ministering from an Eternal Plane. 3. Worship is a Degree of God’s Presence. PROVERBS 6:27 asks a profound question saying, “Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?” When one Worships God, it shall be evident that they carry the results of the God they worship. 4. Worship is the highest degree of response to spiritual promptings. The spirit world operates in spiritual timings (Kairos) therefore some things will only carry weight when done at a designated spiritual time. In JOHN 12:7 Mary wiped Jesus’ feet with an ointment of pure liquid nard, this she did because although she had kept it awaiting His burial, this was the only time she could be able to embalm Him because He would resurrect on the third day when embalming is usually done. 5. Worship is Joyous. PSALMS 16:11 says, “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore”. The working of the Holy Spirit is so wonderful in that Joy moves Him. For instance ACTS 13:52 says, “And the disciples were continually filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.” You realize that Joy precedes the Holy Spirit, in other words there is a certain constant joy one finds in God which JUDE 1:24 calls “Joy Unspeakable”. 6. Freely you have received, Freely give [MATTHEW 10:8]. Right above is one the fundamental laws of preserving the anointing. The anointing of God makes you different, it separates and uniquely marks you. To everyone who truly knows the heart of God, they shall see God’s service as a privilege and not a transaction. Losing it is simple; putting a demand, price or pay in exchange for what God freely gave you. 7. Worship is a place of Reckoning oneself dead and alive to God in Christ Jesus our LORD [ROMANS 6:11]. No one can worship God except in and through Jesus Christ. This, GALATIANS 2:20 rightly puts saying, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me,
Page 6
and gave Himself for me”. This implies that worship is a place of dead men and women offering their service to God. 8. A Worshipper must carry an understanding of God’s grace. ROMANS 5:8 says, “But God commanded His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” This means that a worshipper will always extend grace to those around them bearing a perfect example of Jesus Christ. For instance, He welcomed the little children rather than chasing them away, He was able to nurture the disciples to better people from their weaknesses, He was hurt by the loss of Judas Iscariot, He was able to save the life of a woman caught in adultery, He knew many people’s secrets but chose to keep them to himself, He loved public sinners (harlots, prostitutes, tax collectors) at the point where many could not. 9. Humility is a Life of every Worshipper. EXODUS 33:20 says, “No man shall see God (His face) and live”. In other words humility is the one defining mark for everyone who has seen God’s face. MATTHEW 21:44 says this of those who encounter God, that they are broken to pieces, or crushed to powder. Jesus lays down a great pattern on humility right from His birth to His death, for instance, PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8 says, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” 10. Every Worshipper carries the Mantle of Love. 1 CORINTHIANS 13:2 says, “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have no love, I am nothing.” Love is the heart of God, and when HEBREWS 11:6 expresses saying, “for he that comes to God must believe that - “He is””. The statement “He is”, is a Place of LOVE (Agape). 11. Worshippers understand the power of sacrifice. God will always move you beyond your comfort zone; this every worshipper must know. In MATTHEW 26:40-45, Jesus thrice awoke Peter, James and John from sleep requesting them to watch and pray. They could have had a busy week, walked a long journey, or even stayed in the cold weather, which could be a justification for the heavy sleep, however just as Mama Kathryn Kuhlman says, “the Gospel will cost you everything”. In 2 CORINTHIANS 11:23-28 Apostle Paul gives an example of how much sacrifice he has paid for Christ’s sake saying, “Are they servants of
Page 8
Christ? I know I sound like a madman, but I have served him far more! I have worked harder, been put in prison more often, been whipped times without number, and faced death again and again. Five different times the Jewish leaders gave me thirty-nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. I have traveled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not. I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm. Then, besides all this, I have the daily burden of my concern for the churches.” 12. Worship is a secret between you and God. ISAIAH 6:5 says, “For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” These are things you may never explain in human words even if you tried. It is Only God Who understands you, therefore when PSALMS 16:11 says, “At Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” It is not until someone is drawn to that place, this will only be a mere scriptural reference. 13. Worship is a heart to heart communication with God. 1 CORINTHIANS 2:11 says, “For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God’s Spirit.” A heart to heart communication with Him is a place of vulnerability, connectedness and oneness with Him. This is why Verse 16 says, “For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.” 14. Worship is a place of Brokenness before God. These are places where people let go and loose themselves for the sake of finding God. DEUTERONOMY 4:29 says, “But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” David in PSALMS 139:23-24 expresses his brokenness before God saying, “Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.” 15. It is a place where God’s will leads. JOHN 3:30 says, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” There is a way God can consume someone, for instance in EXODUS 3:2, Moses saw the
Page 10
bush burned with fire, and it was not consumed, but the reason he turned in Verse 3 was to see why the bush is not burnt. GENESIS 5:24 says, “And Enoch walked in habitual fellowship with God; and he was not, for God took him.” This kind of walk carries speed, and time summed up in the statement - “willingness”. 16. A Worshipper interests in building intimacy with God. PSALMS 27:4 has this to say, “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in His temple”. This is the earnest desire of every worshipper; to know God more and more deeply. 17. A worshipper lives above offence. Always captivated by the story of William J. Seymour (told by my spiritual father Apostle Grace Lubega) who narrated how due to the Jim Crow laws William had to seat in the cold outside during the Charles F. Parham meetings. This, William did often for the sake of hearing the Gospel, and soon after he led one of the Greatest Revivals called Azusa Street Revival. In ACTS 9:25 Apostle Paul was let down through the wall in a large basket, in JEREMIAH 38:12 Jeremiah accepted Ebed-Melech’s words of putting the old clothes and rags under his armpits, under the rope so as to lift him out of the dungeon. Offence is one of the signs of immaturity in God; the feeling of selfimportance. My spiritual father always says for instance, “1. Proximity is not access, 2. If you are not recognized seek God more until a time where you cannot be ignored”. In a one story from him that struck my mind, he explains saying that in the earlier days of his ministry, he was invited to preach in an overnight as one of the preachers, when time came to introduce preachers and give them the time to preach, he was neither mentioned nor given opportunity to preach. He says he was heartbroken until God comforted him saying, “Keep your course, for a time will come when you will not be ignored”. From this I learnt a life lesson that you will never be insecure when you know who you are; directly implying that you will always be fine with or without recognition, you will always be fine sitting wherever whether at the back or in the middle because none of these things define you. 18. A Worshipper understands the God in secret through their service toward Him. MATTHEW 6:3-4 says, “But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable
Page 12
deed may be in secret; and your Father Who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.” It is amazing that JOHN 21:25 says, “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.” This implies that Jesus’ impact in the individual lives of people was too great that when a person came out to recount, it was evident that it would be impossible to record it all. As we grow in God we get to appreciate the satisfaction which comes along with secret service. 19. A Worshipper Worships God in spirit and truth [JOHN 4:23]. JOHN 4:24 says, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” This statement is a higher truth. How does one get the spirit? It is through birth by the Spirit. Jesus in JOHN 3:5-6 Jesus explains to Nicodemus what being born again means saying, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” This of essence means that one has to believe in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour and confess Him to be so, with their tongues as they have believed in their heart. This is the new birth (being born from above). What is Truth? Jesus Christ is the Truth [JOHN 14:6]. In other words a true worshipper is one (living in the resurrected life in Christ Jesus) who worships God in the revelation of Christ Jesus as revealed through the Word. 20. Worship has Dimensions [multifaceted]. EPHESIANS 5:19-20 says, “Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Here we see worship in form of; 1. Psalms, 2. Hymns, and 3. Spiritual songs. PSALMS 150:3-4 speaks of praising God with; 4. The sound of the trumpet, 5. The lute and harp, 6. Timbrel and dance, and 7. Stringed instruments and flutes. 1 TIMOTHY 2:8 speaks of 8. Lifting up holy hands. HEBREWS 13:15 speaks of offering the sacrifice of praise to God that is; 9. The fruit of our lips, and 10. Giving thanks to His name. 1 CORINTHIANS 14:2 says, “For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands; but in the Spirit he speaks mysteries.” Here one worships God in 11. Spiritual tongues. NOTE: Worship is not all about the music and melodies but about the heart poured out to God in the revelation of Who He is.
Page 14
21. A Worshipper knows how to minister to all people. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:24 says, “Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God”. In other words, you as the salt of the earth will always flavor any circumstance, and minister to any person in whatever situation just like salt is able to flavor any kind of sauce or food. It is wonderful to know that Jesus Christ was (and is) a friend to children, He had (has) a message for them too [MATTHEW 19:14]. 22. Worshippers know how to find God. ACTS 17:27 says, “so that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us.” Knowing how to find God takes carrying the understanding of what He does the way He does (His ways). In ROMANS 10:20 God says, “I have been found by those who did not seek Me; I have revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me”. This is fundamental in that there is no formula to knowing how to find God but this you can only understand by His Spirit. 23. Worshippers know how to move God. Much as in GENESIS 3:8 the sound of the Lord God walked in the garden (during the Adam and Eve Eden experience), in EXODUS 13:21 the Lord went before the Israelites by the day in a pillar of cloud, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light. Now we only move His heart. For instance, in ACTS 7:55-56 during Stephen’s stoning the Bible says, “But he, full of the Holy Spirit and controlled by Him, gazed into heaven and saw the glory (the splendour and majesty) of God, and Jesus standing at God’s right hand; And he said, Look! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand!” Here God’s heart was moved by the Sermon Stephen preached as a testimony about the Word of Life Whom he heard, saw, gazed upon, and touched with his own hands [1 JOHN 1:1]. Among the many things that move His heart is helping the poor as PROVERBS 19:17 says, “If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD – and He will repay you.” 24. Worshippers know how to position themselves. In JOHN 4:20 a Samaritan woman said to Jesus, “Our forefathers worshipped on this mountain, but you Jews say that Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary and proper to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither merely in this mountain nor merely in Jerusalem.” This implied that there would be (and now is) another kind of positioning which is spiritual and this is through Jesus Christ.
Page 16
25. Every Worshipper should know that the Voice of God is Expensive. This statement my spiritual father often speaks relating to how, many people are unable to hear the Voice of God. You can listen to the sermons below about the Voice of God preached by my spiritual father Apostle Grace Lubega. 1. Phaneroo 422_Hearing The Voice Of God In The Hardest Times. 2. Sunday 257_Hearing The Voice Of God. 3. Phaneroo 371_Discerning The Voice Of God. 4. Phaneroo 176_The Three Distinctions Of The Voice Of God. He often says, “Loose anything but not God, or that place which hears the Voice of God.” 26. Every Worshipper is defined by Obedience to God. ACTS 5:29 speaks of Peter and the apostles who said, “We must obey God rather than men.” It takes the seeing Jesus Christ for one to walk in obedience. HEBREWS 11:24-26 says, “By faith, Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to share ill treatment with God’s people, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time; accounting the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward.” HEBREWS 11:8 says, “By faith, Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out to the place which he was to receive for an inheritance. He went but, not knowing where he went.” Always remember this, that Obedience is better than sacrifice [1 SAMUEL 15:22]. SELAH… The Salvation Prayer – If you have not yet given your life to Jesus Christ, then this is the perfect opportunity to do so. Simply repeat these words: “Lord Jesus, I thank You because You died for my sins and You were raised for my glory. Today, I receive You as my personal Lord and Saviour; I am born again. Amen.”
This Gospel Book speaks of the Church of Jesus Christ, how He loves it and has prepared it for His Second Return.

This Gospel Book speaks of various definitions and laws of Faith. These are from Sermon quotes and Excerpts from my Spiritual Father Apostle Grace Lubega. So beautiful.

INFINITE LAWS OF FAITH by Opale Frank

Page 2
WHAT IS FAITH? Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” One cannot hope for what they see [Romans 8:24], therefore faith is the tangible guarantee leaned on as catalyst for hope. Faith is God’s mind, and when John 4:24 says that God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. This means that worship is a Revelation of Who God is. HOW DOES FAITH COME? ROMANS 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This means that the word of God causes you to hear and therein faith is built in you. WHAT IS GOD’s MIND CONCERNING FAITH? 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” This means that faith does not only deal with prospering one in all things but as well touches their core which is health. Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, Who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” This means that faith brings joy to the world through the Gospel of Jesus Christ which Frees people from all manner of bondage. John 8:32 says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This means that ignorance is equivalent to bondage, and the Word of God is knowledge enough for one’s Freedom. BEYOND MASTERY IN THE LIFE ABOVE WEAKNESS by Opale Frank

Page 62
BEYOND MASTERY IN THE LIFE ABOVE WEAKNESS. LIVING THE REALITY OF THE LIFE FROM WITHIN. ABOUT THE AUTHOR. Opale Frank is a son to Mr. Ojame OkIror Robert and Mrs. Tino Ketty. My Spiritual Father is Apostle Grace Lubega. There is something about the grace of God, for it is an answer to each and every man and woman. One thing about it is that it transforms men and by faith calls them who and what they are supposed to be and, in grace is the reconciliation between man and God. 1 JOHN 4:18 says “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love`s complete perfection].” There is a big distinction in the way a man [woman] under grace prays, as we thank God for what He did for us through our Lord Jesus Christ at the cross, we thank Him for making us Righteous through the justification which is of Faith. Grace is the expression of God`s love for us and because of this we are never conscious of punishment [arising from fear; the master of bondage]. PLOT. This book opens our eyes to the reality of the life we live; not as they say we “shall” or we “will”, this life is of now. Once we live the life we must live now, there are many things averted, for example Jesus` instruction to the Church is “watch and pray”, Paul calls it “praying without ceasing”. We ought to ask ourselves a question of “what kept Jesus praying yet He was God and what was He praying for???” Part of His prayer is revealed to us in JOHN 17:1-26. And what made Him teach the disciples the so called “Lord`s prayer” which involved things like “give us our daily bread, lead us not into temptation, and yet He tells us in JAMES 1:13 that God tempts no man.” This is why Paul in EPHESIANS 1:17-20 always in his prayer prayed for the Church that God may grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of our heart flooded with light, so that we can know and understand the hope to which He has called us, and how rich His glorious inheritance in the saints, And so what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places]. About the Author. Opale Frank is a son to Mr. Ojame Okiror Robert and Mrs. Tino Ketty. Opale`s Spiritual Father is Apostle Of Phaneroo Ministries I was once rooted in the Law until came to know About the wonderful grace of God Grace Lubega International. the age of 16, when I being taught by Apostle Grace Lubega. This came after several invitations both at school and home from friends to go to one of the meetings the man of God. God`s hand surprises by the way He meet`s people at His own timing. One time I was too bored, so just like that I just got myself on the way in search for that place, indeed this was my day. It was a day like no other, I felt like not leaving the place of meeting, even after the service. I thought myself to know the Word of God, from then I realized that I knew nothing. I remember of days when my friends came and told me that they were righteous, and we debated Scripture from evening to almost 1:00 am in the morning until they gave up and said “let`s let him alone, for God will slowly deal with him”. From this ministry of Phaneroo I was opened to availability of Great Generals of God, the Great men and women of God in the past and this time. The Scriptural references are from the Amplified Bible and also the King James Version. INTRODUCTION TO THIS BOOK. This is a Christian Book which opens our eyes to the Truth of what God is communicating to not only this generation but also to the Church of Jesus Christ which has chosen to believe Him and His Word [which is True and Spirit filled]. It helps us to look beyond what we see with the physical eye to what the physical cannot describe. DANIEL 12:3 says “And the teachers and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever.” God while speaking of them who turn many to righteousness was speaking of these times of the New Testament when indeed Salvation shall be preached for the redemption of men and for their righteousness which is of faith in Christ Jesus giving them [all men] an assurance of eternal life. JAMES 5:19-20 says “My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God`s truth, don`t write them off. Go after them. Get them back and you will have rescued precious lives from destruction and prevented an epidemic of wandering from God.” This means that responsibility is laid upon each and every believer in Jesus Christ to minister Salvation to the men of the world and to the saints who have wandered off from God`s Truth. It opens us to more than the words written in can utter; to what the Spirit of God will be ministering to you as read it.
Page 4
This is one of the privileged times to live-in in human history. When looking at the past, from where things revolved to the present, we realize that all the history of mankind has been about the Church of Christ. It is one thing for the worldly times to be categorized in “BC and AD” meaning “Before the birth of Christ and After the death of Christ”. Looking at the history of the Church of Jesus Christ, particularly the Early Church, these men and women lived the Life which is of God as it was no more about them but God alone. Let’s consider where it all began from. In the book of LUKE 24:48-49, the Bible says, “You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high.” We clearly see from the words of Jesus Christ, that indeed the disciples had indeed witnessed all about Him, and could narrate the beginning and the journey they have walked with Jesus Christ, however to Jesus Christ, this was not all He purposed for the New Testament Church. That is why much as they had the witness of Him, He instructed them to remain [tarry, wait on Him] in Jerusalem until they receive the power from on high [Holy Spirit] as promised by God. Remember, it has never been spoken of that the disciples of Jesus Christ healed anyone before the reception of the Holy Spirit, however in LUKE 10:1 the Bible says “NOW AFTER this the Lord chose and appointed seventy others and sent them out ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where He Himself was about to come (visit). Verse 17, The seventy returned with joy, saying Lord, even demons are subject to us in Your name!” In MARK 9:38 the Bible says “John said to Him, Teacher, we saw a man who does not
Page 6
follow along with us driving out demons in Your name, and we forbade him to do it, because he is not one of our band [of Your disciples].” The Bible here reveals to us demons bow in reverence to the name of Jesus Christ. It should be noted this was the first of its kind in history. Let’s take a close look at the Old Testament times, it is true that the devil is revealed to us in two ways in the Old Testament; 1. In the Garden of Eden GENESIS 3:1 “NOW THE serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden?” and 2. Lucifer [the fallen angel] ISAIAH 14:12 “How have you fallen from heaven, O light-bringer and daystar, Son of the morning! How you have been cut down to the ground, you who weakened and laid low the nations [O blasphemous, satanic king of Babylon].” Remember even before the creation of the Heaven and Earth, the Glory and Majesty of God existed, the angels also existed worshipping Him, however in GENESIS 1:26 “God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.” We see that the reason for making man in God`s likeness is for authority, that means that man ranked high next to God. Although we know that there existed hierarchies among the angels and that`s why there was a rank of an archangel [A chief angel], there was a great threat posed to Lucifer an archangel from what this mankind would be like with time from the authority vested upon him [her], that is why in ISAIAH
Page 8
14:13 Lucifer said in the heart “I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north.” We see from this portion of Scripture that the authority which was vested upon man elevated his rank even above the archangels which means man was also to be accorded worship, this is why they are later on referred in HEBREWS 1:14 as ministering spirits of those who are to inherit salvation. We therefore see that to this archangel, it thought that since it came to service early, it should be given authority which was accorded to man. This Jesus made reference too in MATTHEW 20:1-16, of a worker who grumbled at the master having been given the same wage with the person who was hired last. This shows God had referred to man “the stars” even before He revealed it to Abraham [GENESIS 22:17], therefore the devil pursued this evil plan as revealed to us in ISAIAH 14:13-14, it should be noted that there was no way the devil could reach to God before reaching out to man. ISAIAH 14:13-14 says “And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” This Scripture reveals to us the existence of heights at this point in time that is why the devil sought firstly to exalt its throne above the one of man, then later ascend further to the heights to further exalt its throne to heights like that of God. It also shows us that the reason to as to why God is the Most High, is because He exceeds the heights, that means He stands on His own Rank, as He is the King of Kings, it is Him alone and no other or none equal to Him.

The plan of the devil was therefore accomplished at the Garden of Eden from where existed a serpent which in itself was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field [GENESIS 3:1], THAT means that it was a living creature made genius by God, which the devil [the archangel] used as an opportunity to accomplish its evil plans against mankind hence in GENESIS 3, the fall of both mankind and the devil, as for man was punished and the devil cursed. The results of all this was that both man and the serpent fell from their positions of appointment by God. Adam and Eve were driven out of the Garden of Eden, whereas the devil [Lucifer, fallen angels] were thrown from Heaven. Both lost their places. In GENESIS 3:14-15 says “And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all [domestic] animals and above every [wild] living thing of the field; upon your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust [and what it contains] all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel.” This curse was more of spiritual than physical, because we see that after curse of the serpent physically [among the domestic and wild animals] because it accepted to be used by the devil, it transcended to the spiritual, where the devil and woman [mother of all the living], the devil`s offspring and woman`s Offspring. This means as we know that God is the creator of all Living things, however He bestowed the power of creation [of human race] upon woman, and as we know that Living things reproduce things of their own kind [1 CORINTHIANS 11:12 For as woman was made from man, even so man is also born of
Page 12
woman; and all [whether male or female go forth] from God [as their Author]]. However to the devil, it has no power to reproduce, as it just entered [possessed] what it liked, that means that the devil had to lie in wait for the Offspring of woman, Which Offspring spoken of by God was Jesus Christ, as He was born of woman [Mary], and at the cross bruised, trod and crushed the devil once and for all. Therefore in the whole of the Old Testament the devil was revealed as a tormentor, 1 SAMUEL 16:15 says “Saul`s servants said to him, Behold, an evil spirit from God torments you.” This means that the devil was restless time after time as it had to oppress anyone it thought to be the Offspring spoken of that day by God at the Garden of Eden. It should be noted that man fell immediately after eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil that means that even before the pronouncements of punishments upon them [Adam and Eve], they were already fallen. Therefore, to man because he had fallen before knowing his position and authority accorded to him by God before the fall, he therefore had to regard the devil supreme to him just because the devil took advantage of the ignorance in man, and the knowledge it [devil] possessed, without which [knowledge] man and woman lived in perpetual fear of the devil, therefore throughout the Old Testament man lived in compromise of the devil, that is why even to Saul`s servants spoke of the devil to be [as] one from God [1 SAMUEL 16:15], which is false as we all know that the devil was cast from the presence of God. And that is why in the story of Job in JOB 1:6 the Bible says “Now there was a day when the sons (the angels) of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan (the adversary and accuser) also came among
Page 14
them.” We see that Satan was not part of the sons of God, but also came as part of them, this further shows us that Satan was alienated from what it was once part of. Therefore because man in the Old Testament could not in one way or another redeem himself from the devil, he chose to consider it as a long lasting problem which came to stay, as we know a weak man holds no authority over a stronger one. Because the devil continued to lie in wait, we saw a great number of God`s people die and lose life in the devil`s guess work of Who, Where, When, and What the Offspring would look like, as we see that very many nations were stirred up by the devil against Israel, they went into captivity, they went into slavery and lived a life of bondage after bondage, in the times of Moses` birth many young babies were innocently killed, even in the times of Jesus` birth many children lost their lives, And this I believe was the bruising of His heel, because we know that the devil could not do anything to Jesus Christ, that is why in most cases they trembled, and waited for instructions such as “and He allowed them to go to the swine as they requested LUKE 8:32, in JOHN 1:5 darkness has never overpowered the Light. Thereafter when Jesus walks the face of this earth He tells us in LUKE 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and free favors of God profusely abound.]” We see that the Scripture
Page 16
reveals to us that to the Spirit of God, the preaching of the Gospel was of more importance than the release of the captives from bondage. Why? Because it was possible for them to be released from captivity but still hold the same mentality of bondage. Therefore we see the preaching of the gospel was far beyond the release of the captives [man], to their salvation [The redemption of man from the bondage of sin and liability to eternal death, and the conferring on him of everlasting happiness [eternal life]]. We also see that in one way or another the preaching of the Gospel [TRUTH] sets men free as it has its own inherent power, as 1 THESSALONIANS 1:5 says “For our [preaching of the] glad tidings (the Gospel) came to you not only in word, but also in [its own inherent] power and in the Holy Spirit and with great conviction and absolute certainty [on our part]. You know what kind of men we proved [ourselves] to be among you for your good.” We therefore saw in the Scriptures demons which had entered into various people scream when they confronted Jesus Christ, as we know that the devil had continued as usual to torment people [man] until when Jesus Christ [the Offspring spoken of by God] came, the distinction with Jesus Christ from man is that Jesus Christ knew who He was, and yet man although fallen, if he had only known who he was would not have accepted to be enslaved by the devil, as even though both of them fell, he [was] higher than the devil in ranking and so even on earth would be the same [what is done in heaven is done on earth]. That is why with the knowledge that was in Jesus Christ He never at any time fell for the devil`s temptations [whims], HEBREWS 4:15 says “He has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.” By the devil screaming out of people,
Page 18
it meant that it finally met One above it, however this was not enough until it was finally crushed at the cross. It should not be regrettable that the great men and women of God in the Old Testament walked in a great power of God doing mighty things however none was able to cast out a demon, however thanks be to God Who through Jesus Christ crushed the devil once and for all at the cross. What did this mean to man, we now see that the coming of Jesus Christ was not only for the deliverance of man from the devil, but also for His salvation through the preaching of the gospel, Paul in ROMANS 1:16 says “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God`s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,” we see that this salvation meant the restoration of mankind to his first place from where he fell, however this time round not with the corruptible body but with an incorruptible one as 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21 says “For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].” That means by this restoration came authority upon man [us who believe, the Spirit man] as the Bible in MARK 16:17-20 says “And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they
Page 20
will get well. So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen. (so be it).” This is the authority resident in us who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that no more do we need the authority, for we have the authority in us, therefore the manifestations of the power of God must always be evident everywhere we are. Going back to the point of reference in the first paragraph, the disciples of Jesus Christ were normal men until they received the Holy Spirit in them. ACTS 2:1-21 says “AND WHEN the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place, When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them. And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words.] Now there were then residing in Jerusalem Jews, devout and Godfearing men from every country under heaven. And when this sound was heard, the multitude came together and they were astonished and bewildered, because each one heard them [the apostles] speaking in his own [particular] dialect. And they were beside themselves with amazement, saying, Are not all these who are talking Galileans? Then how is it that we hear,
Page 22
each of us, in our own (particular) dialect to which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites and inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and [the province of] Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and the transient residents from Rome, both Jews and the proselytes [to Judaism from other religions], Cretans and Arabians too--we all hear them speaking in our own native tongues [and telling of] the mighty works of God! And all were beside themselves with amazement and were puzzled and bewildered, saying one to another, What can this mean? But others made a joke of it and derisively said, They are simply drunk and full of sweet [intoxicating] wine. But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them; You Jews and all residents of Jerusalem, let this be [explained] to you so that you will know and understand; listen closely to what I have to say. For these men are not drunk, as you imagine, for it is [only] the third hour (about 9:00 a.m.) of the day; But [instead] this is [the beginning of] what was spoken through the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams. Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God`s kingdom]. And I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth beneath, blood and fire and smoking vapor; The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon
Page 24
into blood before the obvious day of the Lord comes--that great and notable and conspicuous and renowned [day]. And it shall be that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord-Christ] shall be saved.” From the above Scripture we see a great distinction from the former disciples [Scholar, pupils, learners, followers, adherents, and supporters] of Jesus Christ after they were endued with the Person of the Holy Spirit, Now they became Apostles [Unction Preachers and Messengers] of the Gospel, not as those eloquent, articulate, persuasive, impressive, and fanatical but as they working by the power of the Holy Spirit as we see that the Holy Spirit has power and not only that, it has no bounds or limitations, that is why all men from all nations, tribes and languages could be communicated to and indeed understand what is being communicated by God. That is why at first, the disciples of Jesus Christ only intended to preach to the Jews and Greeks in the first place, which was not the plan of God, as we see His plan in JOHN 3:16 to be a universal plan, that is why they had to tarry in Jerusalem in wait for the Holy Spirit much as they were already hungry to minister Jesus Christ across the boundaries, we see that this Same Holy Spirit directs our speech [for He gives us utterance], Glory to God. We see Peter [a former fisher man, one with no education advantage ACTS 4:13] speak filled with the Spirit saying that it was just the beginning of what was spoken by God`s prophet Joel [JOEL 2:28] the days when God declared that He shall pour out His Spirit upon all mankind, and sons and daughters shall prophesy, young men see visions, old men dreams, His men and maid servants prophesy predicting future events pertaining especially to His kingdom. From this
Page 26
we see that God is intentional concerning His kingdom, as we see Him willing to use mightily everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, this what the Scripture talks about in HEBREWS 8:11 “And it will nevermore be necessary for each one to teach his neighbor and his fellow citizen or each one his brother, saying, Know (perceive, have knowledge of, and get acquainted by experience with) the Lord, for all will know Me, from the smallest to the greatest of them.” We see that all spirit in this mortal body will all by experience know God, and as we know that experience is personal, in that you and I and everyone shall have this experience of the Holy Spirit by not only residing in us but also working through for the glorification of God. The Bible in 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9-10 says “But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man`s scrutiny]. We see that from this portion that there are things which no eye has ever seen, ear never heard and never entered into any heart of man God has prepared for those who love Him, and yet by the Spirit of God we have already been revealed to these things by the Holy Spirit, as to others it is just prepared for. What does this mean, it means that there are benefits which are granted us by the Holy
Page 28
Spirit, as one of them is the freedom of access to even the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man`s scrutiny], second is that the Spirit of God puts us ahead of time and this is the reason to as to why dreams, visions and prophesies are given us through the Holy Spirit. We also see that the revelations of the Spirit are always new or fresh, not as the man of Ecclesiastes says in ECCLESISTES 1:9 “The thing that has been--it is what will be again; and that which has been done is that which will be done again; and there is nothing new under the sun.” as to us we sound new things by the Spirit, which things need not a carnal man`s approval and that is why the writer of JOHN 3:8 says “The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” To everyone born of the Spirit of God, the world cannot understand them [you] and that is why in ACTS 2:9-11 all religions could unite and meet together because they understood themselves, but when the Holy Ghost fell upon the Apostles, they could not understand them although they [Apostles] spoke a language familiar to them, they had to call them drunk. In 1 CORINTHIANS 2:24 the Bible says “But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.” This means that the carnal man [non-born again] can never comprehend the
Page 30
things of the Spirit as it is only those born of the Spirit of God who can understand Him, although the carnal man can only attest to a few manifestations of the Spirit of God which is just for their sake, such as they always hear a sound [just that] and yet God wills them too to come to the knowledge of TRUTH in His begotten Son Jesus Christ, that is why even these religious people heard a sound of the Holy Spirit which later a number of three thousand [3000] souls were saved from eternal damnation. We see that for the sake of us who have believed in Jesus Christ walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, God is willing to show wonders in the sky above and signs on earth beneath, blood and fire and smoking vapor; turning the sun into darkness and the moon into blood before the obvious day of the Lord comes--that great and notable and conspicuous and renowned [day]. What does this mean, it means that the Spirit of God is willing and can provoke God to reveal not only signs of the end but also the atmosphere of the end [sun darkening and moon turning into blood] itself just for our sake, this means that God is willing to do anything for a Believer walking in His Spirit, ROMANS 5:8-11 says “But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us. Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ`s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin`s
Page 32
dominion) through His [resurrection] life. Not only so, but we also rejoice and exultingly glory in God [in His love and perfection] through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have now received and enjoy [our] reconciliation.” Here we see while we were sinners God offered Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, how much more now when we righteous will He give us anything, that is why He gave us all things, yet Paul even in that liberty in 1 CORINTHIANS 9:15-19 says “But I have not made use of any of these privileges, nor am I writing this [to suggest] that any such provision be made for me [now]. For it would be better for me to die than to have anyone make void and deprive me of my [ground for] glorifying [in this matter]. For if I [merely] preach the Gospel, that gives me no reason to boast, for I feel compelled of necessity to do it. Woe is me if I do not preach the glad tidings (the Gospel)! For if I do this work of my own free will, then I have my pay (reward); but if it is not of my own will, but is done reluctantly and under compulsion, I am [still] entrusted with a [sacred] trusteeship and commission. What then is the [actual] reward that I get? Just this: that in my preaching the good news (the Gospel), I may offer it [absolutely] free of expense [to anybody], not taking advantage of my rights and privileges [as a preacher] of the Gospel. For although I am free in every way from anyone`s control, I have made myself a bond servant to everyone, so that I might gain the more [for Christ].” We see that Paul a bondservant of God filled with the Holy Spirit, applies wisdom to know that even in his Liberties he pursues expediency. Even to this generation where the Spirit of God shall be felt like never before, we believe to see the freedom in the Gospel preached even to the preachers, as
Page 34
these are the times when those with infirmities [disease, ail, illness, sickness, indisposition, malady, distemper, disorder, complaint, weakness] shall be looked for, for the manifestation of their healing, when we shall declare a word and it shall be [most especially pertaining the kingdom of God], these are the times that the whole world must be born again and it is so. Glory to God. Times when everyone is anointed and none carries the mentality of “a few notable men of God having results” as everyone shall and must have the experience of God`s hand and Spirit at work, as the Bible testifies in ROMANS 9:25-26 saying “Just as He says in Hosea, Those who were not My people I will call My people, and her who was not beloved [I will call] My beloved. And it shall be that in the very place where it was said to them, You are not My people, they shall be called sons of the living God.” What a glory to the Church of Jesus Christ. The Question at hand remains: “But what was the mystery in the Garden of Eden that made the devil wroth at man the way it did to the extent of risking loss its position?” let us consider it once again. GENESIS 3:1-3 says “NOW THE serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden, Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.” We see from the text above that Satan was questioning the TRUTH of God. The word “really” could mean the “the actual existence”. The Greek
Page 36
word to mean really is [GNESIOS] which means Legitimate (of birth), that is, genuine: - own, sincerity, true. What does this mean to us, satan, knew that once the Personality of God is put in question, then even the instructions therein will be neglected. This goes beyond the saying that God is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent, to a situation where one deliberately chooses the way of the devil [doubting God]. At this event there was an exchange of Truth for falsity [lies or deception]. We see that originally Adam and Eve had Personality of God in them as Truth was resident in them, this is why Eve indeed truly declared what God had told them and did not in any way deceive satan, as they did not know lies. Thereafter the devil took of this truth in exchange of deception to both Adam and Eve questioning the Truth [existence] of God and this why for the first time when none had taught them how to lie, [as the devil did not instruct them on what to tell God] they had to deceive God. As we know that God had only opened Adam and Eve to all what was good, therefore the devil wanted to open them to the realities it [satan] had opened up also which are “EVIL AND CALAMITY” as revealed to us in GENESIS 3:5, after this questioning of the Personality of God, we see that immediately Eve`s eyes were opened to world of deception Verse 6 says “And when the woman saw the tree was good (suitable, pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some also to her husband, and he ate.” Verse 13 says “And the Lord God said to the woman, what is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted, and deceived) me, and I ate.” The world of deception is one in
Page 38
which everything false is received as truth and everything true received as false. It also means a world in which everything evil is considered good and everything good is considered as evil. It also means a world in which calamity is considered as blessing and blessing as calamity. The word world in Hebrew means [Cheled] meaning “life (as fleeting portion of time), age, short time. This means that the world is a land that is time bound as well as a place full of options. As we see that Adam firstly was revealed to an atmosphere without options, however the devil opened him to another world also. This means that although this world is under a timing [beginning and end], it is also governed by options for example life and death, light and darkness and many others. We see that when Adam fell [from truth], they indeed dwelt in the world of deception [darkness]. That is why in the whole Old Testament and even in the New Testament men still doubted the existence of God [Jesus Christ], look at the Israelites, even after the Great deliverance from bondage to the Promised Land still doubted and questioned God, just because of the seed that was deposited by satan in them that day in Eden. Therefore we see in JOHN 14:6 the Bible says “Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.” The devil`s questioning of God`s Personality was about this TRUTH “Jesus Christ the Son of God” hence the devil stirred up within Adam and Eve doubt of this Person of God concerning the Legitimacy of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son, and this is how the both Adam and Eve fell into the deceived [corrupted] world. And when Jesus comes and walks the face of this earth He preached the Word of God, as He often said that He came to do the will of the
Page 40
Father and not His own will [JOHN 5:30]. He reveals to us JOHN 6:63 “It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” From this point we see that there is another realm that Jesus Christ opened up to man and this is the one of the Spirit. This Spirit is a Person of God, just as Jesus Christ is a Person of God. He tells us of this Spirit being a Life-giver, in other portions of Scripture He is called the Spirit of Truth. JOHN 14:17 says “The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.” We see Jesus Christ clearly speak of this Person that the world cannot receive Him, for it does not see or know and recognize Him. This means that before the face of the world, Jesus Christ and the Person of the Holy Spirit are like a fallacy to it, and yet He is the TRUTH spoken of before ages, as ISAIAH 42:1 says “BEHOLD MY Servant, Whom I uphold, My elect in Whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice and right and reveal truth to the nations.” The Bible says that this TRUTH [Jesus Christ] is resident in us forever. What does this mean to the Church of Christ? It means that the Spirit of Truth which we have received, and is resident in us will always make us enemies to the world, as this why when we got born again even our citizenship changed [s], PHILIPPIANS 3:20 says “But we are citizens of the state (commonwealth, homeland) which is in heaven, and from it also earnestly and patiently await [the coming of] the Lord Jesus Christ (the
Page 42
Messiah) [as] Savior.” Hallelujah, that means we no longer live in the timings of this world, we have no option but God alone. We have been found by TRUTH, He pursued us found us and indeed called us His own. JOHN 9:39 says “Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment [as a Separator, in order that there may be separation between those who believe on Me and those who reject Me], to make the sightless see and to make those who see become blind.” This means that we are distinct and separate from the people of this world although we seem to live in the same world with them. Therefore the question why is it that when we receive [d] this salvation, of what good is it for us again to stay in this world? The answer is to preach to others of the goodness of God for their salvation too, to them that believe. In JOHN 17:20 Jesus prays even for them who would come to believe in Him through the word and teaching of them that have believed as in JOHN 17:3 says “And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.” We see that much as Jesus came to cause separation, time after time men of this world come to believe in Him for their salvation as by experience they come to see and realize the necessity of Jesus Christ in their lives. However this does not exempt the preachers of truth from persecution from them that are of their father the devil. The Bible in the GALATIANS 4:2129 gives us an account of two sons born by Abraham, one after the flesh and another born after the Spirit [Perfect will of God], one representing the Law which was given at Mount Sinai [Agar] in Arabia depicting
Page 44
bondage, and that which is of the faith--the free son of the promise. We see that both of them are tagged with the name Jerusalem, however we see that the earthly Jerusalem is in bondage, however to us we are of the heavenly Jerusalem which is free. It is true that the bound son indeed persecuted the free son and the Bible tells us, cast away the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. We see that this is a serious issue, a matter of great concern. GENESIS 21:14-20 says “So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a bottle of water and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulders, and he sent her and the youth away. And she wandered on [aimlessly] and lost her way in the wilderness of Beersheba. When the water in the bottle was all gone, Hagar caused the youth to lie down under one of the shrubs. Then she went and sat down opposite him a good way off, about a bowshot, for she said, Let me not see the death of the lad. And as she sat down opposite him, he lifted up his voice and wept and she raised her voice and wept. And God heard the voice of the youth, and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven and said to her, What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the youth where he is. Arise, raise up the youth and support him with your hand, for I intend to make him a great nation. Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water, and she went and filled the [empty] bottle with water and caused the youth to drink. And God was with the youth and he developed, and he dwelt in the wilderness and became an archer.” From the above portion of Scripture we see that indeed as it is written, the son of the bondwoman was castaway, however this did not exempt God from taking care of that son, and therein He
Page 46
promised to make him [bound son] a great nation, and yet we know of only one great nation spoken of in Scripture and this is the nation of Faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. That means that God would also save this seed born of flesh. Later on in the New Testament we see in JOHN 3:16 say “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” This a great nation spoken by God that day with Hagar, her son was also given access to this Promise. We also see that it took the free Son [Christ from the heavenly Jerusalem] to come and redeem the bound son, by showing him [them] the Way [Himself—the author of Freedom]. This is why the Jews were shocked by the working of the Holy Spirit even to the Gentiles, ACTS 10:2546 says “As Peter arrived, Cornelius met him, and falling down at his feet he made obeisance and paid worshipful reverence to him. But Peter raised him up, saying, Get up; I myself am also a man. And as [Peter] spoke with him, he entered the house and found a large group of persons assembled; and he said to them, You yourselves are aware how it is not lawful or permissible for a Jew to keep company with or to visit or [even] to come near or to speak first to anyone of another nationality, but God has shown and taught me by words that I should not call any human being common or unhallowed or [ceremonially] unclean. Therefore when I was sent for, I came without hesitation or objection or misgivings. So now I ask for what reason you sent for me. And Cornelius said, This is now the fourth day since about this time I was observing the ninth hour (three o`clock in
Page 48
the afternoon) of prayer in my lodging place; [suddenly] a man stood before me in dazzling apparel, And he said, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and harkened to, and your donations to the poor have been known and preserved before God [so that He heeds and is about to help you]. Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who is surnamed Peter; he is staying in the house of Simon the tanner by the seaside. So at once I sent for you, and you [being a Jew] have done a kind and courteous and handsome thing in coming. Now then, we are all present in the sight of God to listen to all that you have been instructed by the Lord to say. And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons, But in every nation he who venerates and has a reverential fear for God, treating Him with worshipful obedience and living uprightly, is acceptable to Him and sure of being received and welcomed [by Him]. You know the contents of the message which He sent to Israel, announcing the good news (Gospel) of peace by Jesus Christ, Who is Lord of all--The [same] message which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, starting from Galilee after the baptism preached by John--How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him. And we are [eye and ear] witnesses of everything that He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. And [yet] they put Him out of the way by hanging Him on a tree; But God raised Him to be manifest (to be plainly seen), But God raised Him to life on the third
Page 50
day and caused Him to be manifest (to be plainly seen), Not by all the people but to us who were chosen (designated) beforehand by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. And He charged us to preach to the people and to bear solemn testimony that He is the God-appointed and God-ordained Judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets testify (bear witness) that everyone who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him, giving himself up to Him] receives forgiveness of sins through His name. While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all who were listening to the message. And the believers from among the circumcised [the Jews] who came with Peter were surprised and amazed, because the free gift of the Holy Spirit had been bestowed and poured out largely even to the Gentiles. For they heard them talking in [unknown] tongues (languages) and extolling and magnifying God…” We now see it truly come to pass that everyone in the world irrespective of anything that seems to form difference can be saved through the preaching of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for firstly their forgiveness of sins and also reconciliation to the Family of Faith--the heavenly Jerusalem. This also means that a great and effectual door has been opened up by Jesus Christ for all who believe in Him for their salvation. Still speaking of the bound son, ROMANS 10:20 says “Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, I have been found by those who did not seek Me; I have shown (revealed) Myself to those who did not [consciously] ask for Me”. ROMANS 11:17 stills speaks of this people saying “But if some of the branches were broken off, while you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them to share the richness [of
Page 52
the root and sap] of the olive tree.” This could look too simple however to serious, imagine with me how people live in this world [which is time bound] make destructive choices which costs them more than even what they could ever give or offer, to the perishing of their souls. One man once said that when one commits an offence [breaking these earthly laws], they are indeed imprisoned and thereafter serving their sentence “seem to be forgiven” and yet even the ones who convince him or her that they are now free and forgiven also have to give an account before God. What I am seeking to say is that reformation of people can only be found in Jesus Christ, and not in systems built by men. The Bible says in JOHN 8:36 “So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.” Indeed this is the same freedom Jesus pronounced even to the Gentiles. We also note that men have gone further to establish religions, structures and systems that seek to prove men unworthy to reach out to God, and that they are to be communicated too as mediators between God and them [the ignorant people]. This is not true, if we profess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we need to give ourselves to Him alone, what I am seeking to say here is not the issue of submission [for submission is Spiritual], but on the issues where men in religion have bound people just like the devil did, as all religion is one and the same; for they know the Truth [that Jesus Christ is Lord] but deliberately choose to destroy people with false doctrines. Imagine with me, how someone [flesh and blood] can tell another that their sins are forgiven them by virtue of them pronouncing it [sins] to them. The times are changing and have changed, men`s eyes will and have opened like never before, as they shall individually seek God
Page 54
and read the Scriptures themselves. As we know that Religion cannot demonstrate even an inch of God`s power yet luring people that they serve God yet instead starving them to death without even the understanding of the Scriptures. Change is come when these places shall be depopulated like never before. Dr. TL. Osborn once said “religion will pound us on the heads from now till doom`s day, religion came to play and pray on people, when God wanted to build a bridge to get back [reconcile] with the people, religion jumped in and said, we will be the voice--we will organize, we will ordain, we will send up the big ones, and they will speak with authority, and they will bring down the boom, and they will threaten and scare the people and they will make them pay, and we will get richer for them, and we will tell them we are the connection. Religion says “God” is not available, you have to come through us [religion], you have to pay us, bring the offering to us, give us the money and we will handle it, we will tweet for you to “God” meanwhile, you are unholy and not good, keep it cool baby or “God” will curb you.” TL. Osborn says that he has preached to all major religions but all have one thing in common—“keep “God” big and unapproachable and people worthless and down” and yet we know God is precious, good, and wonderful, and loving, and kind, and helping, and life giving, and up lifting and His is not mad at the world, He made us, we are His idea, He just wants to come to people but religion blocks the way.” This is the reason why religion will always seek to oppress the ministers of Truth. In LUKE 13:34 the Jesus said “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who continue to kill the prophets and
Page 56
stones those who are sent to you! How often I have desired and yearned to gather your children together [around Me], as a hen [gathers] her young under her wings, but you would not!” we clearly see that indeed it has always been that the One from the heavenly Jerusalem seeks to set free or liberate the ones of this earthly Jerusalem which is and has always been bound, however this Jerusalem as it has always been doing, keeps killing those who are sent with Truth which is liberating to them. Religion in itself can do anything to protect its sanctity, even though it means killing it can do it, just for its security, in other words religion is insecure. Looking at the people religion has killed in seeking of its justification, Look at Stephen, innocent as he is, religion sheltered itself that he had blasphemed God and the Law [ACTS 7:1…], look at James who was slain just because of preaching the Truth [ACTS 12:2] as the rulers [Leaders] were and are still influenced by the deception of religion, this they and have always done to many saints, remember they did it even to Jesus Christ, saying that He had blasphemed God and Moses. What does this show to us, remember throughout all the Scriptures Jesus was bitter at religion and religious leaders, this means that they have another god they are serving and not the Living God, because they could boldly crucify Him just because He had blasphemed their god, and not the Living God. It is a choice for one to choose either to walk in this blindness or believe in the Living God and Him alone. We see that when the Holy Spirit came as promised by Jesus Christ to His disciples, persecution was sparked off like never before, however thanks be to God that they had a boldness to stand it and go through it. I often
Page 58
look at the life of Paul, that this man was in prison [chained] all his life, he was caned all his life, and all manner of evil things were done to this man, but he continued to preach the Gospel, we read the New Testament and are blessed and graced by the writings of these men who went through the persecution as even to bloodshed but still did not give up. Men like John boiled in boiling water as an experiment to see what could kill him, men like Peter crucified upside down not because they wanted but for the sake of the Gospel they lost everything even their dear lives for the sake of it. Many people enjoy reading and speaking the life that was lived by the Apostles, however as we know that the Gospel is for men and women who have lost their lives, only to find them in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ boldly says in MATTHEW 10:16 “Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be wary and wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and without falsity) as doves.” This means that we ought to have a wisdom on how to respond to the attacks of these wolves [those opposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ], and this is only by the working of the Holy Spirit in us, it was never reported anywhere in Scripture that Paul abused them that persecuted him, he instead prayed for them. Why did he do this? Couldn’t he fight them? Couldn’t he call fire from heaven? This praying was by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, as we know how flesh and blood responds to situations, as it is always opposed to the way the Spirit does its things. This means that the more the persecution arose, the more the Gospel was preached and penetrated the hearts of men. Glory to God. By the working of the Holy Spirit, it was evident that men [believers] were not beside themselves as they had indeed
Page 60
had an encounter with God. All manner of miracles were done through them by the working power of the Holy Spirit, the blind saw, the lame walked, the deaf heard, the dead were risen to life, infirmities were cured, many souls were won to Christ and many received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, everything they decreed came to pass [ACTS 11:28], and many others things. This means that the same Jesus Christ Who walked the face of this earth indeed resided in these men and women. JOHN 12:24 says “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.” As we know according to the laws of seed and harvest, seeds reproduce their kinds, therefore having us been born again not of the corruptible seed but of the incorruptible seed which is the Word of God that lives and abides forever. We are reproduced with the same nature of Jesus Christ. This Seed has a multiplier effect as it blossoms anywhere and it withstands the test of fire, water, storms and time, Glory to God. With this nature of God, Jesus says that we shall do even greater things than He did [JOHN 14:12]. HAGGAI 2:9 says “The latter glory of this house [with its successor, to which Jesus came] shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place will I give peace and prosperity, says the Lord of hosts.” We have seen that after the lives of the Apostles of Jesus Christ who lived in a glorious glory, the period of 1860 to the early 2000, there lived great women and men of God who truly tested and walked in the glory spoken of by the Scriptures and doing greater things as Jesus Christ indeed spoke of [these being believers]. May be to
Page 62
mentioned but a few as this is not conclusive to all as this period was indeed characterized by men who set a pattern to this living generation; firstly, greatly appreciating the Author of God`s Generals Books, Roberts Liardon for the great work of his writings which have indeed kept records of the walk of the great men and women of God which has indeed inspired many people. Unction ministers like A.A Allen, William Branham, Oral Roberts, John G. Lake, Kathryn Kuhlman, F.F Bosworth, Smith Wigglesworth, Marie Woodworth Etter, Lester Sumrall, Billy Graham, George Jeffreys, Benny Hinn, Bp. Benson Idahosa, William Seymour, Kenneth E. Hagin, T.L. Osborn, Charles Parham and very many others. These servants indeed knew what they spoke about, if it was about the healing power of God, they walked in it, if it was teaching about the Word of God, they taught it. Most of these men are long gone as they are at home with God, and yet up to now there works still stand. In the periods of the early 2000 to date, God has been faithful and has continued to use His servants and some include, however this is not conclusive as God knows all and all the parts of the body play an equal part in the body of Christ and that is its edification, nothing else. Men like Reinhard Bonkee, Pr. Chris Oyakhilome, Dr. Maurice Cerullo, Dr. Myles Munroe, Ap. Grace Lubega, Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack and many others. These men have lived a patterned life. However the question at hand is that when these are long gone what next for the Body of Christ. We have seen situations where once strong ministries fade with the sleeping of the mantle carriers, the Holy Spirit which is at work with these men and women seeks to work in you too like never before, He seeks to do a new thing in you. Not because God is unable to
Page 64
raise people with special anointing’s, He so intentional about your life, for you carry the very life which is of God and He speaks of this Spirit that He came to stay for eternity you and I. The Old Testament Prophets, and Priests had this Spirit rest upon them for just moments and yet even in that short time with the Spirit did great and mighty exploits, however to us the Father has made Himself an abode in us. And for this, how can we live as normal men, I personally I am spirit and not a man. I have over time studied my Spiritual Father Apostle Grace Lubega, that the Spirit of God in him, stirs up the inside of the listeners to hunger for God like never before not that they do not have Him, but because they seek to have an experience upon experience with God. This is the same Spirit of God that has stirred up the young generation in schools, universities, homes, and all around the world, testifying of the Person [Grace] of God upon man. And all these men indeed have always walked with results. Looking at the spirit Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, these Saints have day in day out ministered the Gospel and great and enormous results have been manifested in their lives, and yet the Spirit of God is willing to do a new thing in you and I. And this why I believe that these are the times when the Spirit of God shall be experienced by everyone irrespective of their age, education background, status quo, beauty and many other things that men things that men have built as standards for the Gospel. Talking about money, born again Saints have always had a worldly mentality that Gospel is dependent on money and that without money there can be no prosperity in Gospel, in other words they think that the Gospel is dependent on money, what a belittling of the Gospel!!! This is a timid view about God, for we know of
Page 66
a God Who Authors and finishes what He starts. Jesus Christ in His walk on the face of this earth was never in any way conscious of money. There is a great deception that has and is creeping into the Body of Christ, that we see even saints themselves seeking to build Net Worth’s just as the men of the world do. What does the Bible say, MATTHEW 6:20-21 says “But gather and heap up and store for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust nor worm consume and destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” The question is how are our treasures heaped up in heaven? The answer is by walking in the will [definitive purposes] of God upon our lives, this the Bible says that there our heart will be also, we ought to be Kingdom minded [Souls, Souls, Souls]. The Bible tells us that for God so loved the world; this means that in the world was His treasure, this is why His heart was mercifully and graciously poured out to the people in the world. We see that He died for us His treasure and also came and resided into us [our hearts], this is why because we are His treasure, He choose to seat us in the heavenly places where He is. Indeed a Kingdom mind is all we ever needed, this is why the Bible says that we have the mind of God, to execute Judgment, for we know where to set our hearts. GENESIS 47:1317 says “And [there was] no bread in all the land; for the famine [was] very sore, so that the land of Egypt and [all] the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine. And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh`s house. And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the
Page 68
land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bead: for why should we die in thy presence? For the money faileth. And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail. And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread [in exchange] for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.” What does this show us, it shows us that money failed, and will always continue failing and yet we know that Jesus [the Bread of Life] never failed, therefore why attach failure to the Gospel. It is true that money is necessary for the running of the activities of God, however that should not be the excuse for manipulating or coercing people into funding Church activities, as we all know that God provides by His own way and not the worldly or man`s way. Because of this mind also certain men have deliberately opened up Churches not with the intention of building the Kingdom but seeking to satisfy their own lustful cravings. The Word of God never fails and never will it ever fail, for it overcame all things just as we overcame the world. The man of God Andrew Wommack once narrated of a situation where he had been struggling with financial issues, to the extent he and his newly married wife could not afford anything to eat for over two weeks yet pregnant [the wife], and the only financial solution was in the conference he attended from where books were displayed for sell and had a price tag which he could not afford and yet these very books were offering financial guidance to that problem. What does this mean, it means that Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ should by all means be made free for access to everyone because these are the very people Whom Jesus
Page 70
Christ freely died for. Because of this I see a liberty in the re-definition of things in the Body of Christ, men will boldly move everywhere [in streets, lanes, hospitals,…] lead by the Spirit of looking for the lost just to minister to them and this is the move of the Holy Spirit in this generation, as not only will the Church of Christ be feared but it will also be a place of refuge to the whole world [which is lost] as Jesus Christ is indeed a mustard seed which grew and nests all kinds of birds, and shelters all kinds of animals [LUKE 13:9]. There is something about knowledge which cannot be fully expressed by words, however by God`s grace, with elaboration it will be expressed. The Hebrew translation of the word knowledge is written below: H3045 עַדָי yâda‛ yaw-dah' A primitive root; to know (properly to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively instruction, designation, punishment, etc.): - acknowledge, acquaintance (-ted with), advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, [un-] awares, can [-not], certainly, for a certainty, comprehend, consider, X could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, (can, cause to) discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be [ig-] norant, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, (cause to, let, make) know, (come to give, have, take) knowledge, have [knowledge], (be, make, make to be, make self) known, + be learned, + lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, X prognosticator, regard, have respect, skilful, shew, can (man of) skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, (can) tell, understand, have [understanding], X will be, wist, wit, wot.
Page 72
In both the Old Testament and the New Testament knowledge is one of the most emphasized truth as it appears most, this means that it is so fundamental to the Body of Christ which is you the reader and I. Why Knowledge? Let us define it as per the Hebrew meaning. As seen above we shall extract a few words, knowledge means: Awareness, Certainty, Comprehension, Advise, Discernment, Instruction and also being learned. Looking at all these interpretations, we see that the similarity in all of them is that they refer one to the spirit of humility as humility precedes knowledge. PROVERBS 4:1 says “HEAR MY sons, the instruction of a father, and pay attention in order to gain and to know intelligent discernment, comprehension, and interpretation [of spiritual matters].” This means that one firstly has to honor the Instructor [which is in this case God] before the instructions are understood. ROMANS 10:14 says “But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? And how are they to believe in Him [adhere to, trust in, and rely upon Him] of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?” From this portion of Scripture we see the order of things that the preacher must preach God, and that the people must believe the God preached before His Words find application in their lives. With this mind the Bible says that He replaces the hearts of stone with one of flesh in these who have believed Him through the Son [JEREMIAH 31:31], for the heart of flesh is for submission to truth, that means that there is no way one will be resistant to TRUTH, as it is truth that brings about awareness, certainty, comprehension, discernment and instruction. Therefore the question is where does the problem come from that makes people hesitant and resistant to truth, and the answer is that it originates from preachers who were not sent in
Page 74
the very first place [ROMANS 10:15 And how can men be expected to preach unless they are sent.], and because of this, the listeners become indifferent to the things of God. However to us who have believed the True God and His Son Jesus Christ the Bible says in ISAIAH 33:5-6 “The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation). And there shall be stability in your times, an abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the relevant fear and worship of the Lord is your treasure and His.” This Scripture indeed talked about the times we are in; the times when Jesus Christ is preached for the salvation of men, then thereafter gain the stability [maturity] by wisdom and knowledge of the Son hence our stability for we become learned, and we take heed to instruction, and have the Spirit of discernment because of the Word resident in us which is sharper than any two edged sword and a discerner of all things--how won`t our times be stable?. These are the very times from where God instructed Daniel saying “But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book until the time of the end. [Then] many shall run to and fro and search anxiously [through the Book], and knowledge [of God`s purposes as revealed by His prophets] shall be increased and become great.” These are the last times of the world where the knowledge that was hid [concealed] by Daniel under instructions of God profit. And the Bible says in PROVERBS 3:20 “By His knowledge the deeps were broken up, and the skies distill the dew.” That means that by the Knowledge of God, indeed the Understanding of the Books of Daniel and Revelations shall be; to the edification of this Glorious Later Church. These are the times ISAIAH 11:9 “They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” On the face of it, this means that
Page 76
a great wave new converts to salvation is come just because of the knowledge of His grace in this generation, and because of this, peace shall be established everywhere on this earth for the Spirit of God is in Control. The Knowledge of God in the Earth. If anyone wants to receive salvation, you can speak out these words believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, say: Dear Lord Jesus, I believe in my heart, that You are the Son of God, and that You died for my sins, and rose again for my justification, I receive You as my Lord and Savior, and I declare that I am Born Again.
