Grace is a person of Jesus Christ. In JOHN 1:17 the Bible says “For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” That means that there is no way you can define grace without defining the person of Jesus Christ. We see that firstly the men of the Old Testament had to abide by the Law [Ten Commandments] so as to be at peace with God [DEUTERONOMY 28:1], however none could keep up to the standards of the Law [ROMANS 3:23], as one who defaulted in one commandment meant that they had broken all the Ten Commandments.
