Why children? Society is filled with vulnerable people who really need help. These include; men, women, and children. Prioritizing children doesnot mean that the other categories of vulnerable people do not deserve urgent attention, however with time, there will be an expansion of this innitiative to include them too. Growth is such an important aspect that is worth the world’s attention because just like trees, a tree without roots is more of a structure without a system. Why Now? I have heard an opportunity to look through the society I live in, and as well made research on the world’s most populated societies and have come to a conclusion that it is a Divine Call from Heaven to reachout specifically to the children. Who is a child? A child is any vulnerable person who needs protection from a harmful society, and firstly, giving them Godly direction on how to go about life. This includes creating awareness campaigns on how important children are, and the need for a joint cause so as to ensure that all children feel loved.

What is God’s mind concerning children? Children are a blessing from God [GENESIS 1:22]. What is Society’s perception about children? “My children are only those biological from my loins and womb”, “My children are only those of my brothers and sisters dear to me”, “My children are only those of my current wife, and for the wife who left (divorced), I do not recognize them”. But where does this mind leave the rest of the children? In LUKE 10:30-37 Jesus gives this beautiful parable of the Good Samaritan saying, “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ So which of these three do

you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves? And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him,” “Go and do likewise.” Something special about the parable above is that, therein Jesus gives a clear pattern on how to efficiently helpout the needy. Things that stand out are, 1. Man is wounded, 2. A good Samaritan who wants to help, 3. There is an inn with a willing person to receive whoever comes in, 4. Oil and wine poured as a first aid, 5. Two denarii offered the inn keeper for maintenace of the wounded person, 6. This is concluded as mercy shown. Secondly, a good Samaritan is a chain of likeminded people with a common good, to help and support those in need without seeking to benefit from it. Why is this Innitiative Important? To hear a child cry is equivalent to hearing Jesus cry. In MATTHEW 18:5 Jesus says, “Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receieves Me.”

How did Jesus deal with children? MATTHEW 19:13-15 says, “Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.” MATTHEW 14:15-21 says, “When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.” But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” How often do you show kindness to children? A child’s smile is one of the genuine and purest there is, which smile needs protection.

My interaction with children for over twenty two years has proven to me that all children deserve to be loved, and that there is no child love cannot change. I believe deep inside your heart is the strong love for the children which is the essence of this Divine Innitiative. How do I see children? I firstly see them as my own, and secondly, I see them as my young self. Have I risked anything for the children? Yes, and still do, just like many of you do. What really is the mind behind loving and advocating for children? It is because children are The Heart Of GOD. God loves children, and just like JOHN 3:16 says that in God’s expression of His love for mankind, He gave us Jesus as the best Gift thereis and shall be, therefore our love for the children should be expressed WHOLEHEARTEDLY. What moments standout for me with the children? 1. Carrying them I grew up loving children’s smiles and realized that when I threw them upto the air, they gave me the best of their smile. One day as I streched

out my hand to carry a naked baby, his (baby’s) mother told me that due to teeth growth, he was affected by a running stomach. I paid a deaf ear to it since the baby too had strectched out his hand towards mine. I threw him to the air and as he smiled back at me, he dirt my face. Hahaha, everyone laughed on, so did I. 2. Two Lost children In 2024, two young friends of mine found two young children, one aged two and ahalf years and the other aged one and ahalf years who had disappeared from their home in a densely populated area where we lived in. They made several announcements from about 4:00 hours to 9:00 hours. As it came to 10:00 hours, they came at our door knocking for me since their parents could not accept the responsibility of lodging these little ones. We reported the matter to the nearest police station, who reffered us to the other because they too did not want that responsibility. The one we went to also reffered us to the main which required moving outside this community as it was half a kilometer away. We boarded two motocycles and therein as we travelled the youngest smiled at me which smile stuck in my mind to date. Upon reaching this station, a statement was recorded and we were sent back since the Police Children’s Family Unit was locked by 11:00 hours, hence we returned with these children. The question in our minds was on how to lodge these children, since we were all under our parents households who for various reasons could

hardly accept these children. I told these friends that l would take the responsibility. Upon reaching home, I did give them some small food as they looked hungry, they both once again smiled, I smiled back but knowing how much trouble I was already into since my parent was already furious. God is faithful, in that upon them finishing to eat, a call rung from the main police station that the children’s parents had arrived to the station. We took them there, and their parents were so happy, so were the children. We were thanked by them much as they did not have any monies to offer. To us, fulfilling what we had to do was enough since we knew that heaven has it recorded. Glory to God. 3. Sunday school lessons with the children This began by some parent requesting me to at least preach the Gospel to his young child aged six who was so notorious daily commiting offences such as theft, fights and verbal vulgar exchange with elders. This, she requested me as many times as I remember, however in my mind, I thought to myself that I was quite busy and engaged with academic schedules. In one moment as I reflected, I really felt the cry of this woman because I was once in a Sunday school class and I am a product of the work of the Gospel from such classes. Much as she permitted me to take this son-inlaw of hers to Church, I also realized that it is important for at least his parent or relative to move along with him. I also noted that the entire

community needed the Gospel because children were left exposed to the harmful habits of the society. This caused me to start Sunday school lessons which was a replica of the lessons which happened at Church. I felt the impact of these lessons to these children who have daily requested for them (lessons). I also appreciate the willingness of their parents who have always sent their children for them. And there has been moral and spiritual transformation in these children. Glory to God. 4. Hi Five moments with children After the Sunday school lessons, sharing Hi Fives together gives me joy as children Hi five each other and me while smiling. 5. A crying child at the back of our house Around 2019, we heard a girl crying behind our house, she had run from her home due to domestic violence by her step-mother. It was around 11:30 hours. We reported the matter to our neighbors who were quite old in age but they did not give it any attention. I reached out to one of my neighbour, a girl who was my friend, she welcomed her and gave her accomodation for a night. Later in the morning, the matter was reported to police who reconciled her with the guardians. I thought to myself, why would such a young girl be exposed to a night’s lonliness?

6. Giving to children Seeing a child helpless causes an emotional disturbance to my mind. I remember praying to God when I was twelve years telling Him, “LORD, when You make me wealthy, I will use all my wealth to help the Needy.” Every time, I see the needy, I give all I that I have unreservedely. My heart feels an emotional attachment to all the poor and vulnerable people. At times, am emotionally striken and take times to cry to God about people’s situations. Story of a young girls’ generosity In 2025 as I returned from school, a young school girl aged about eight to ten who was eating fried G-nuts mixed with maize was asked by one of the street children to give them something to eat. She scooped part of it and gave to them. This touched my heart, making me appreciate the parents of this child in their absentia because of how they raised their daugther to know that all people are equal. Story of a young boy stepped In most Cities in Uganda, are people often known as Karimojongs, who to us from Teso are our Uncle’s and Auntie’s. These though not all, do survive through hardships such as selling and sorting beans or G-nuts from the markets. While at Mbale, a young boy who had stretched his arm under a truck so as to pick a fallen banana that was beneath it, had his arm

stepped by this car. His loud shout while undergoing intense pain broke my heart as I asked myself when would such reproach for an entire Region end? Who heard the Judge’s call? Yes, I did. While attending a High Court Criminal Session in 2024, which was a defilement case of a young girl aged ten years, where the accused pleaded guilty during plea taking. Her Ladyship Justice Margaret Mutonyi in anguish stated that something has to be done in line with Research as to the cause of and how to curb this vice, because 70% of the criminal cases handled are those of defilement. Where does this leave our Society? Where does it leave our children? Where does it leave our future? Is Caning children good? Certanly not! There is need to distinguish between disciplining and torturing. Disciplining is aimed at teaching a child the right path through love, whereas torturing is an expression of one’s anger. There is a better way to teach, and this is through love. Moses taught retaliation where as Jesus taught Love. Love is a Greatest Teacher because of it’s impact [LUKE 7:47].

Are unborn babies children? Yes, they are. Every child when given an opportunity to live, are capable of becoming anything. In around 2019, my lovely mother while in tears cried after I preached to her the Gospel, and she narrated to me the reason as to why she cried. She told me of a relative and an elder then in the year 1999 into 2000 who pestered her to abort me because my Mum had recently given birth and quickly conceived me. She narrates being offered abortion herbs which she did take over and over again to a quantity enough to terminate a baby. She stated that at last she gave up on drinking these local herbs because of how bitter they were. I believe God as He always does had a Big Plan for my life, which I am grateful of, that I am alive today. My Mum did apologize to me, and she regretted saying she did not know who would have been preaching the Gospel to her, as I am her only child among the many, who preaches the Gospel. What is the Bibilical perspective about unborn babies? LUKE 1:44 says, “For behold, when the voice of your greeting came into my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy!” This means that they too understand and indeed are purposed to live on earth so as to accomplish the mandates and assignments God has placed upon their lives.

In JEREMIAH 1:5 God says, “Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” This clearly shows us that children are a Plan and Work of God. In other words, no child is a mistake, and parents are just a conduit of God’s work. How many children are aborted daily? Abortion is a demonic activity aimed at frustrating God’s Work on Earth. To me there is pre-abortion, abortion and post abortion. Let us think it out together. Pre-abortion This is an activity that frustrates carrying a child, for instance, death of either parents before conception. This aborts a possible destiny of a child purposed to be on earth. GENESIS 38:9-10 says, “But Onan knew that the heir would not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in to his brother’s wife, that he emitted on the ground, lest he should give an heir to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD.”

Abortion This is where a child is already in the womb and killed before birth time. JUDE 1:11 speaks of people who have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit. Balaam a prophet in the Old Testament still made reference of in the New Testament, who for a wage was willing to curse the children of Israel, but for God’s blessing upon them could not do it but taught Balak to put a stumbling block before them, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality [REVELATION 2:14]. This stumbling block would eventually arouse God’s anger against them hence their destruction. Balaam’s doctrine has been adopted through various sophisticated ways of conducting abortions. And for this, ROMANS 1:32 says, “knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” Post abortion This is where a child is born but unfortunately gets killed when still young. For instance, MATTHEW 2:16 says, “Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and sent out, and killed all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding countryside, from two years old and under, according to the exact time which he had learned from the wise men.”

Many children are aborted daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, but again, is this what they deserve? Certainly Not! Becacuse they too like we are, deserve to live. It is suddening to imagine how many parents encourage their daughters to abort, how many boys force girls to abort, how many pharmacy’s (clinics and hospitals) and how many nations encourage abortion. For this must stop and only be excused for exceptional health circumstances. Why are Nations dealing with high crime rates? PROVERBS 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” This scripture calls for nurturing children when young so as to instill in them the discipline required for life. I have in pain observed the end of many, both young and old people who indeed I believe that if they had the opportunity of being raised well, they would still be alive today. Again to ask, how many people’s lives are affected daily by the bad actions of other people? When I look at Nations like America and some Continents like Europe, Asia, and Africa, and see how gun violence had ended the lives of prominent people whose impact to the world would be so much great, I

feel suddened and burdened on how important Raising children is hence this Great Divine Initiative. To see the rise of Rappers and their short living on earth is heart breaking; to imagine how a person plots to kill another persons’ son and daughter is so frightening. These people killed are raising children, and taking care of multitudes of lives and families. Everyone deserves to live and no one deserves death. Every man, woman and child has a core – deep in their heart. This is the one that requires to be tamed while early because cores are what people are made of. To sit down and imagine how Adolf Hitler who once was in a Church chior could become such a worlds’ threat leaves questions on the impact of the irresponsibility of parenthood. Backtracking how much resources were gathered for fighting Covid-19 convinces me that the world can indeed deal with every problem but for direction on how to do it. And just like Joseph in GENESIS 41:54, I set myself to Globally Minister to the children.

Is it possible to curb crime to Zero rate? Yes, it is. If we all took up this cause of advocating for the children, and teaching them right on the Godly path, there is an assurance that crime will be dealt with efficiently. Why are young children still nurtured into slavery? A woman goes to the village and requests a parent to let her young girl aged five who is not schooling to be allowed to go and stay in town with the aim of working as a maid. What a pain! To daily observe such a young girl dress up a woman’s children and escort them to school for a pay which directly goes to her parent is so saddening. I believe that every child deserves a better future and protection from such barbaric actions. What about the question of Irresponsible parenting? Do Nations forsake their responsibility upon people attaining the age of majority? Certainly, yes! This leaves many helpless in the unencumbered liberty of permissiveness. But again, is this right? I say, NO. A young man impregnate’s an entire village and is untouched. Drugs are supplied in broad-day-light leaving all age groups frail and exposed to addiction.

Children are impregnated, and the police for a bribe opts to settle the matter outside court. Children are tortured and sexually abused in the watch of neighbors. How many children, youth and adults contemplate suicide for various reasons inclusive of depression? One would ask, “Where is the State? Where are the people? Where is the Church? Where are the various organizations?” And I say, we are here as the answer to such Questions. What then is the SOLUTION?
