6. Giving to children Seeing a child helpless causes an emotional disturbance to my mind. I remember praying to God when I was twelve years telling Him, “LORD, when You make me wealthy, I will use all my wealth to help the Needy.” Every time, I see the needy, I give all I that I have unreservedely. My heart feels an emotional attachment to all the poor and vulnerable people. At times, am emotionally striken and take times to cry to God about people’s situations. Story of a young girls’ generosity In 2025 as I returned from school, a young school girl aged about eight to ten who was eating fried G-nuts mixed with maize was asked by one of the street children to give them something to eat. She scooped part of it and gave to them. This touched my heart, making me appreciate the parents of this child in their absentia because of how they raised their daugther to know that all people are equal.
