PEBBLES & PINES Please make sure your calendars are marked for our dance on December 7 in the HFC. It is that time of year when Santa will visit us and we can all celebrate together. LAVA AUXILIARY By Chris Graves The November meeting is Wednesday, November 20 6:30 p.m. at the Clubhouse near the Stage. Come check us out. We will be debriefing the Craft Fair and planning for the next one in 2025 as well as other activities that support our veterans and those in the military. All are welcome! Thank you! As I am writing this article, the Craft Fair is just around the corner. I can tell you at this time, I just know it is a success because of the generosity already displayed by so many neighbors, staff and Charm City. More to come as we finalize the numbers and donation to Operation New Uniform, this year’s veteran charity. God Bless America and especially our military! LA ROCKERS By Annie Lutz LA Rockers is a wonderful group of residents that spreads acts of kindness to our LA Community. By painting and hiding rocks here at Lake Ashton we hope to provide one message at just the right moment to change someone’s entire day, outlook, life. LA Rockers meet in the HFC Community Room from 1 to 3 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. The first Wednesday meeting is for current members to learn new skills and techniques. The third Wednesday is a “Free Paint and Newcomers Session”. Newcomers are welcome to come and give the group a try! Newcomers will be lent the supplies needed for their first session so you must contact MJ Richards (mjmrichards517@gmail.com) at least five days before their first meeting so that supplies can be provided. If you are lucky enough to find a rock, please post a photo of your rock on Talk of Lake Ashton’s (TOLA) Facebook page. It means a lot for us to see where our rocks go. 40
