CAMERA CLUB By Larry Hillock The October meeting kicked off the 2022 – 2023 season. A lot of good suggestions were made as to potential club activities. Plans will be developed for member photo outings to Bok Tower, Gatorland and other locations. Arrangements for guest speakers to attend club meetings are also being pursued. With the return of the snowbirds, this should be another good season for sharing the enjoyment of photography. The LA Camera Club is open to all residents. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 10:30 am in the Clubhouse Cinema. As always, you are encouraged to bring along a few pictures on a USB drive to share with the group. GENEALOGY CLUB MEETING By Jane Imparl If you are interested in finding those long lost ancestors, consider joining the Genealogy Club for the next meeting at the HFC Craft Room on Wednesday, November 9 at 2 pm. The "theme" of the meeting will be "FREE". Genealogy websites that will help you find records and resources and are also FREE will be explored.
