GOLF MESSAGE FROM THE PRO SHOP By Kevin Baker, General Manager As another successful golf season comes to a close, I would like to extend a sincere thank-you to all Lake Ashton club members and residents for your continued support of our golf courses. Your participation and enthusiasm play a major role in helping us maintain the quality playing conditions we all enjoy. With many of our seasonal members returning north for the summer months, we will soon begin our annual off-season maintenance program. Greens aerification is scheduled to begin in May, an important process that promotes healthy turf and strong putting surfaces for the coming season. In addition, starting in May, one of the courses will be closed each Thursday on a rotating basis to allow our maintenance team to prepare the turf for the summer growing season. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this essential work. I would also like to remind residents who enjoy riding through the golf course but are not playing that golf carts must remain on the cart paths at all times. These guidelines help protect course conditions and ensure everyone can safely enjoy the property. As we begin planning for next year’s membership season, I encourage any residents who are not currently members to stop by the golf office to learn more about opportunities available at the club. A strong membership helps us continue investing in course improvements and enhancements for everyone’s benefit. Finally, you will soon see announcements regarding adjusted summer hours at the Eagles Nest due to seasonal demand changes. As always, my door is open for your feedback. I look forward to seeing you around the club this summer. 42 BLUE MAN GROUP ANNUAL MURRAY ZACHARIA MEMBER/MEMBER TOURNAMENT By Bill Bothwell On Wednesday, April 8, The Blue Man Group hosted their annual Murray Zacharia Member/ Member Tournament.
