BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ELECTIONS In 2026, there are three seats up for election on the Lake Ashton Community Development District (LW) Board of Supervisors and two seats up for election on the Lake Ashton II Community Development District (WH) Board of Supervisors. Candidates must qualify with the Polk County Supervisor of Elections located at 70 Florida Citrus Blvd., Winter Haven, Florida 33880, 863-534-5888 starting June 8 through noon on June 12. All candidates shall qualify for individual seats in accordance with Section 99.061, Florida Statutes, and must also be a “qualified elector” of the District, as defined in Section 190.003, Florida Statutes. A “qualified elector” is any person at least 18 years of age who is a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of the State of Florida and of the District, and who is registered to vote with the Polk County Supervisor of Elections. Campaigns shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 106, Florida Statutes. Contact the Polk County Supervisor of Elections for more information. CLUBHOUSE ART WALL By Shelley Brodka We have some amazing artists, photographers, glass and craft designers in Lake Ashton, and we hang their art on the hallway wall of the Clubhouse. Each month a new artist’s work is featured and is hung for a month for you to enjoy. We take care of hang them for you; and you just bring the framed wired piece of art or a photograph of your craft to hang to share with our community. We now have openings for the Clubhouse Art Wall for 2028 and beyond. You can do a solo showing or enlist some friends to have their works of Art / Photos displayed with yours.
