SEASONAL RESIDENTS AND SUMMER TRAVELERS If you will be away for the summer, please stop by the Clubhouse Activities Office to sign up and pay for a seasonal subscription ($6 monthly; $10 monthly international). The newsletter is also published electronically and can be found on lakeashtoncdd.com as well as sent out via email blasts weekly. There is also a Summer Checklist in the Media Center to assist in making sure everything is taken care of before departure. OPEN BOCCE PLAY Wednesdays are designated as Open Play Day on the Bocce Courts at the Clubhouse. Residents are invited to stop by and play anytime between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM. The courts are equipped with lights for evening play. The storage container closest to the pool is open and available for everyone to use. The second container is reserved for club and tournament play only. Please be mindful of the posted rules on the light poles and make sure your guests also follow them. One of the most common rule violations is lofting the bocce balls. Bocce balls should always be rolled, not thrown through the air. Lofting can damage the court surface and infrastructure, leading to unnecessary maintenance costs. OPEN BOWL ING Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays are open bowling days at the Clubhouse. No reservations are taken on these days. All lanes are open, first come, first serve from 6 am to 10 pm. Please be sure to wear bowling shoes or other prior approved footwear when bowling. Don't use powder of any kind as this creates a slipping hazard. Staff and Volunteers work very hard to maintain these lanes so please help by cleaning up and straightening furniture after use. Please reach out to staff or Security (after hours) if you experience any issues while using the lanes.
