Mystic Valley improved to 11-3-2 overall with the win. Senior Captain Bailey DeLeire scored for Mystic Valley nine minutes into the first half to give the Eagles the early lead. Five minutes later, Lucia Antonucci scored another goal for the Eagles. Julia Kerans sent a ball into the box, and Antonucci beat the Panthers’ goalkeeper to net her 30th goal of the season. Antonucci gained possession deep into Cathedral’s zone in the 27th minute to pass it off to Kerans, who then dished to senior Maria Alves. Bailey scored a hat trick in this game. Emily currently holds the best Goals Against Average in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference. Bailey DeLeire wankambo cleared a Cathedral scoring chance with three minutes left in the match to secure the win. DeLeire recorded her 5th shutout of the season and currently holds the best Goals Against Average in the CAC league with a 1.13. Junior Lucia Antonucci, with a total of 40 points this season, holds the highest points in the CAC league. Antonucci has 30 goals and 10 assists.
