The Under 18 squad have worked hard and shown grit and determination throughout. Danica Perrin has been a great asset in goal, while Jess Stanton has been our goal scorer, with her well-timed runs and deflections from the midfielders. The Under 14s and Under 15s have predominantly played 7 a-side matches this season. This allowed for a greater representation of pupils and gave some girls the chance to experience the full sized pitch. The Under 15s competed in the annual ISA 7-a-side Midlands competition, finishing fifth in the tournament. The Under 13s have had a superb season. With a newly developed team consisting of pupils from Year 6 – Year 8 the girls have gelled well, despite the age differences, and their scoring ability has greatly improved. At the Midlands ISA competition, the team finished a strong second. We topped our group but narrowly lost in the final. The Under 10/11 girls hockey team have played well, working on tactical play and continuing to develop understanding of the game.
