Tee to Green Golf Magazine FEBRUARY 2021 ONLINE ISSUE Guidry, Altese win O’Neill Memorial titles Cameron Guidry (Picayune, Miss.) and Katelynn Altese (Diamondhead, Miss.) won their respective divisions of the Jack O’Neill Memorial Junior Championship on Jan. 30-31 at The Club at Diamondhead. Guidry, a Southern Miss signee, shot an opening-round 75 and then followed that up with a final-round 74 to post the five-stroke victory over Mateo Jimenez (Diamondhead) and Wesley Pippins (Madison, Miss.). Jimenez and Pippins are both 2022 graduates and each shot opening-round 78s and final-round 76s. Altese, who is a junior in high school this Cameron Guidry season, won the girls overall title by three shots over Harper Hinckley of McComb, Miss.Altese shot an opening-round 76 and a final-round 74. Hinckley shot an opening-round 72 and a 81 in the final round. Katelynn’s younger sister Karstyn finished third at 154 after rounds of 75 and 79.
