LGA releases its 2020 schedule The Louisiana Golf Association has released its 2020 Schedule of Events. The season gets started with the Women’s Four-Ball Championship at The Atchafalaya Golf Club at Idlewild (Patterson) on April 18-19. The LGA will put on a total of 11 tournaments and six qualifiers for the U.S. Open (May 4 at Koasati Pines at Coushatta in Kinder), U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Girls Junior Amateur (June 16 at Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette), U.S. Amateur (July 13 at Links on the Bayou in Alexandria), U.S. Senior Amateur (July 27 at East Ridge Country Club in Shreveport) and U.S. Mid-Amateur (Aug. 4 at Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club in Broussard). The Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship will be at Koasati Pines on May 7-8.The Senior Amateur Championship will be May 7-9 at Koasati Pines. On June 11-14, the 101st Amateur Championship will be played at Bayou Oaks at City Park South Course in New Orleans.The 92nd Women’s Amateur Championship will be June 21-24 at Tchefuncta Country Club in Covington. The boys and girls Junior Amateur Championship will be July 8-10 at Links on the Bayou in Alexandria. Ellendale Country Club (Houma) will play host to the Four-Ball Championship July 18-19.The Mid-Amateur Championship will be at Le Triomphe on Aug. 7-9. The Net Amateur Championship will be Aug. 22-23 at Greystone Golf and Country Club in Denham Springs. The Women’s Senior Amateur Championship is Oct. 8-9 at Southern Trace Country Club in Shreveport and the 2020 tournament schedule will conclude with the Senior Four-Ball Championship on Oct. 10-11 at Southern Trace Country Club.
