Ideal for substation construction. Requires an external 10000 psi pumping source. Accepts any shell type dies currently used with Alcoa or Burndy 60 Ton Presses. Available in single or double acting hydraulic advancing rams. Double acting tools have quicker return times and eliminate the possibility of the tool jamming. Complete with carrying case, removable die cap for easy connector positioning, tool stand, and screw type couplers. HU-EP-60W HU-EP-60D 60 Ton, Single Acting 60 Ton, Double Acting Huskie EP-100WC and EP-200WA 100 Ton and 200 Ton Hydraulic Presses for full tension, transmission and substation connections and require an external 10,000 psi pumping source. The EP-100WC will accept shell type dies currently used with Alcoa 100 ton compression heads. Dies for 200 ton presses are considered special application and must be engineered to the connector manufacturers specifications. Consult factory for these dies. Both compression heads are double acting and designed to operate from Huskie Tools pump models R14EAD, HPG-4 or any 3/4 HP highpressure, double acting pump with the proper oil capacity. Double acting means hydraulically advancing the ram to build proper tonnage, then the hydraulic pressure is reversed to retract the ram. This will eliminate all possibilities of the connector hanging up or the tool jamming. The EP-200WA is the only 200 ton press on the market today and both are the lightest weight models in their class.
