Dorrie is renowned as one of our great contributors to our netball contingent in many roles, and coached countless young girls to premierships over many years. She was rewarded for her contribution to our club with Life membership in 1990. It was great to see Dorrie return to our 2018 fifty year Reunion of our four 1968 premiership teams, and she was very well received by all of the ladies who returned. The Avoca Football Netball Club was saddened by the passing of Brian Arrowsmith during the 2022 season. Brian was a tireless worker as a former committee member of the Avoca FNC in the 80’s, who also held the role of Secretary in 1985 & 1986, and was Treasurer in 1987. He and his loving wife Jo have also produced many footballers and netballers to have played for the Bulldogs. Our very best wishes to the Arrowsmith family. Condolences also for the recent passing of Jo. Jo was a lovely lady who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
