The Food Bank is a charity near and dear to my heart. There are two primary reasons I donate. One is the “bang for the buck”. For every dollar I give, the Food Bank is able to multiply that amount so the end result is more food for more people! I also give because I’m aware of so many people not having sufficient food/nutrition. Not only do I read about it, but I’ve seen it with my own eyes as a former teacher in a poor, rural school district.
