Varsity Football ’87 By Peggy Wright There is no question about it, Prairie’s highlight of their second season in the Mississippi Valley Conference was their 21-12 victory over Linn Mar. The Hawks first game of the season was a loss to City High, but they made a remarkable recovery with wins over Jefferson, Fort Madison, Kennedy, Iowa City West, Front Row: Mgr. The leadership and determination was exhibited by the senior class.Their ” never-say-die” attitude helped them gain confidence and experience success. Coach Johnson wants the past season to build a pride and tradition around Prairie football.
