Coffeehouse t This year’s annual Coffeehouse production was performed November 7 and 8 in the high school gym. Entitled “Dr. Rock and Mr. Roll Out the Barrell,” the play centered around the conflicts that arose when two musical groups were scheduled to perform at a big vacation resort on the same weekend. Then, a mysterious phantom promoted havock by kidnapping women, until Chanet Woo, daughter of the notorious detective Mr. Woo, solved the mystery of the missing ladies and disclosed that in reality, the leader of the rock and roll band was transformed into a hideous phantom whenever he heard polka music from the other group, Far Above Left: Matthew Clothier, readying for the take-off. Fortunately, a couple of band buffs apprehended him before any harm was done. Once again, Chanet gave the facts, explaining how his scheming plan was to be. Written and performed by choir members, the play was a great success, mixing music, romance, sorrow and anguish in a drama that will be remembered as ‘one of the best.’ Coffeehouse 121
