Parker Junior High parker press Super-Car By: Jacob Beal Do you think the BMW M8 competition is a supercar? The Bmw M8 in my eyes is very much a supercar. The M8 competition is a not-so-popular supercar. It has a twin-turbo v8 with 617 horsepower. It puts the power down to all 4 wheels and with a switch of a button the back two. This beautiful car comes in 3 different body styles. Cabriolet,(convertible) coupe,(2 door) gran coupe,(4 door). The reason why people say this is because the M8 competition doesn’t have a crazy price tag like other supercars. though it is extremely expensive it doesn’t compare to its competitors ($134,100). Unlike the Audi R8 with a ($158,600) price tag, or the McLaren 570s with a ($195,000) price tag. This leads me to the following reasons. The Bmw M8 speed is something else. The 0-60 mph time is 2.5 seconds according to car and driver magazine. Comparing that to the Audi R8(3.4) and McLarens(3.1). Aside from acceleration, the top speed is where it lacks. The BMW is 18 mph compared to the Audi R8’s 200 and the m=McLarens 204. “ The Bmw M8 in my eyes is very much so a supercar” “The BMW M8, in my eyes, is very much a supercar!” May 30, 2023 Issue № 3

May 30, 2023 Parker Junior High parker press Falcons Soar to Success By: Brandon Whittier Issue № 3 I have interviewed many students who are in my classes. I interviewed 9, sixth-grade students to see their core class grades. I averaged together all of the ELA grades, and I got 87.4%. When I averaged together all of the Math grades, I got 88.67%. When I averaged all of the Science grades together, I got 88.21%. Finally, when I averaged together all of the Social Studies grades, I got 87.92%. The majority of grades were B’s. If you want to make that more consistent, pay a little more attention in class and study for tests. I would like to thank the 9 people who I interviewed for this. I very much appreciate it!

And everyone rejoiced but sooner than laterIt snowed. I have a friend named Pat. She said she liked my hat, I let Pat borrow the hat. One fine evening Pat came running up to me claiming that the hat was nowhere to be found. Deeply enraged I directed Pat away from me before I got too upset. Pat came back. She said she was very sorry for losing my hat. So, We looked under the covers and inside the gutters yet we still could not find my hat that I lent to Pat. Relinquishing we headed home. Pat bought me a new hat. The End. .

Parker Junior High parker press From Dunk to 1v1 By: Kharisma Ristau The dunk contest for NBA all-star week is a fun week for basketball lovers. But the dunk contest has been very played out. NBA stars are not wanting to do the dunk contest for lack of prize or respect/honor of the industry instead suppose that the NBA does a 1v1 match instead. Actual all-star players would be more intrigued to play in this match rather than a dunk contest. This will show who really is the “goat” in the NBA right now. . Jokes Answer: It was two tired! This will also be more intriguing to viewers. The NBA has been doing the dunk contest since 1976. This doesn't leave much room for creativity on the dunks. I believe viewers would much rather see a 1v1 with Lebron and Kevin durant than a less-known player dunk.
