7. Timing It is an earthly law for everyone to reap what they sow, and for this, time is of essence. This means that what ones uses of the time accorded to them will determine the outcome, as seen by some men misusing their opportunity and later regretting. Furthermore, some men either delay or rush in their approach and therefore fail to subject women to certain tests, for instance, “to what extent she loves people.” 8. Lack of prudence SONG OF SOLOMON 8:4 says, “I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you never stir up or awaken love until it pleases.” This calls for men to discern how important it is to sow the right seeds at an appropriate time. Love has a timing which must align to God’s, Who makes everything beautiful in His time [ECCLESIASTES 3:11]. Therefore, some men have caused women to awake love before the right timing hence frustrating what was still processing to virtue. 9. Peer pressure Many men have often been influenced by their peers or those with authority over them, to do things so as to please them but not necessarily out of their will. This in most cases has forced some men into marrying the wrong partners, and even choosing to settle for less, rather than a virtuous woman. Page | 6
