CHAPTER TWO What is marriage? This is a marital union between a man and woman in the blessing and supremacy of God’s mind and ideology concerning marriage hence becoming husband and wife in unison to become one flesh [MARK 10:78]. Is marriage beautiful? Yes, it is. Man’s first expression of happiness is seen in GENESIS 2:23, where he said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.” Much as in Christ we are complete, there is something marriage adds up to a person, although again, marriage is not for everyone as some choose celibacy for purposes of serving God, which is okay [MATTHEW 19:1112, 1 CORINTHIANS 7:27-35]. There are times when one cooks food and although sweet, but feel that there is some missing ingredient to make it perfectly sweet, and so is marriage, for it makes the finest version of every man and woman.
