The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” Christ introduces us to the look at Him beyond the perspective of the flesh [physical] which indeed He laid down for our salvation, to the Spirit [His Word that proceeds from Him]. We see that Christ indeed speaks of the Words in and from the Father in Him being Spirit and Life, and that whoever has an intimacy and accepts these Words to work in Him or her has eternal Life in them.
