THE LA PURPLE STARS The Purple Stars are residents of Lake Ashton who have had cancer or know of family or friends who have had cancer. Our goal is to raise funds which we donate 100% to the American Cancer Society. Over the year we have sponsored many fundraising activities which many of you have attended and supported, and we sincerely THANK YOU. Because of supporters like you, the American Cancer Society has made significant contributions to the fight against cancer over the last 110 years through advocacy, research, and patient support. Your generosity changes lives every day. We need and are looking for some of our Lake Ashton residents to join us in these fund raising activities. You do not need to be a cancer survivor, just someone who would like to see this disease wiped out as well as supporting those fighting the disease itself.
