50 SHADES OF PINK COMEDY NIGHT FALL FESTIVAL 5K By David Fix The Fall Fest 5K this year will be held on October 28 beginning at 8 am with the start and finish at the Clubhouse. The beneficiary of this year's 5K will be Lake Ashton Hands 4 Hope, a group of volunteer Lake Ashton residents that has pooled together their resources to assist local families with clothing, food and basic necessities for their day to day needs. Additionally, Lake Ashton Hands 4 Hope worked with local schools last year to help identify families in need of assistance at the holidays. A party was held in the HFC to provide a meal and gifts to those who may have been otherwise overwhelmed, overlooked and vulnerable to poverty. These residents have formed a more official group and will receive the money raised from the 5K. Registration Forms are available at the Clubhouse Activities Desk and must be returned by 5 pm on September 12 in order to participate. Fee is $25, check payable to LA Hands 4 Hope. Forms may be mailed to or deposited in the box on the porch at: Lake Ashton Charity Run 4444 Turnberry Lane Lake Wales, FL 33859 FALL FESTIVAL It's almost that time of year again — mark October 28 on your calendars for the annual Fall Festival, and resident crafters and volunteers are needed!
