LAII (WH) HOA/ARC CORNER By Connie Strassberg Fall has arrived, and it’s time to concentrate on elections. The next regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting will be Thursday, October 1, at 1 pm in the HFC Community Room. The slate of candidates for the HOA will be introduced at this meeting. There are three seats open in this election: two regular two-year terms and one one-year term to fill the seat opened by a resignation. Please mark your calendars for the membership meeting and election on Thursday, November 5. The HOA has five flyer slots at the top of the flyer board at the HFC. They currently contain Email Contact Authorization forms and various information flyers about the HOA and ARC. Flyers about Compliance will be added soon. To ensure you are receiving email notifications from the LA2 HOA, submit a completed Email Authorization Form to the management company, Stambaugh, at 863-324-5100. Pick up a copy of the authorization form from the HOA flyer slots, complete the requested information, and either mail the form to Stambaugh or place it in the white HOA mailbox at the HFC. Without authorization, privacy laws prevent the HOA from contacting you. The LA2 HOA website is stambaugh.cincwebaxis.com. To access announcements, posted documents, the directory and calendar, or to pay dues online, please register. First-time users will find the “REGISTER” button in the upper-right corner of the website and can follow the instructions to sign up. This is your website, so please use it! The LA2 HOA Board of Directors meets on the first Thursday of each month at 1 pm at the HFC. Please check at the front desk for the meeting location. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for October 1 and November 5. Agendas will be emailed to those signed up to receive email notifications and will be available in the HOA flyer slots after they are finalized. Agendas will also be posted on TOLA and the HOA’s Facebook group, LA2 HOA/ARC INFO. West residents can join the Facebook group by submitting a request that includes their name and LA2 address. The ARC (Architectural Review Committee) meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 1 pm at the HFC. Please check at the front desk for the meeting location. To contact the ARC, follow the instructions in the ARC Tracker at arctracker.com and select the area “Lake Ashton 2.” REMINDER TO ALL RESIDENTS Residents should be mindful of their property boundaries and not conduct work of any kind outside of those property boundaries.
