CANDIDATE FORUM By Bruce Collina An LACDD Candidate Forum will be held on Monday, October 5, at 10:30 am in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Residents are invited to submit written questions for the candidates from September 1 through September 18 by placing them in the lock box located in the Ballroom. Questions must include the author’s name and address and may not contain a candidate’s name or be written with the intent of directing the question to a particular candidate. No questions will be accepted from the floor on the day of the Forum. This Candidate Forum is independently organized and is not sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Lake Ashton Community Development District (LACDD). CANDIDATE MEET & GREET By Paul Fichtman Residents are invited to attend informal Meet & Greets with candidates for the Lake Ashton CDD and Lake Ashton II CDD Boards. The first Meet & Greet will be Tuesday, October 6, from 12 to 2 pm in the HFC Sports Court. The second will be Thursday, October 15, from 2 to 4 pm at the Clubhouse. Residents will have an opportunity to meet candidates, ask questions and learn more about their backgrounds and perspectives on matters affecting the CDDs. Candidates attending include Michael Lee and Cheryl Winchester for Lake Ashton II CDD, and Debby Landgrebe, Kevin Marsh and Frank Svarczkopf for Lake Ashton CDD. These Meet & Greets are independently organized and are not sponsored by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Lake Ashton CDD or Lake Ashton II CDD. 2026 GENERAL ELECTION TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 The 2026 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3. LACDD Board of Supervisors candidates: Seat #2 Debby Landgrebe & Deborah Murray Seat #3 Daniel Davis & Frank J. Svarczkopf Seat #4 Kevin Marsh & Jonathan Ridpath 10 LAIICDD Board of Supervisors candidates are: Seat #1 Roy Aull and Michael Lee Seat #3 Cheryl Winchester and Bob Zelazny The deadline to register to vote is October 5, and the deadline to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot is October 22. Residents assigned to the Lake Ashton Clubhouse polling location will vote in the Ballroom on Election Day. Because polling locations can vary by precinct, residents should verify their assigned polling location before heading to the polls. PROPER CREDENTIALS Lake Ashton Resident Photo ID cards (or similar access devices) may be issued to all members of each Resident’s household and/or Non-Resident Members. Guest Passes shall be issued to all Guests upon 5 registering with Amenity Manager. Each Patron and/ or Guest will be required to present Proper Credentials upon request by Staff. If not presented, the individual will be asked to leave the amenities immediately. Individuals may be charged a fee in accordance with LA CDD and LAII CDD Chapter III: Rules for Amenities Rates, (respectively) to purchase an Amenity Access Device. All lost or stolen Amenity Access Devices should be reported immediately to the Amenity Manager’s office. A fee will be assessed for any replacement Amenity Access Devices. Unauthorized use of Proper Credentials may result in suspension of an Individual’s privileges based on the suspension policy herein.
