ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE • The bowling machines are all self scoring. If you are unsure how to operate the machines or need assistance, please contact staff for assistance. Pavement work on Turnberry Lane will start on October 1. There will be minimal impact to most residents October 1 — 3, with the road open from each end but not to thru traffic. Starting the week of October 6, no vehicles can be parked on the road. Tuesday, October 7 through Friday, October 10, residents should expect no access to the roadway, barring emergencies. Late Friday, October 10, the road is scheduled to be complete and open to traffic. This schedule is subject to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, and resident cooperation in keeping the road clear. Schedule changes will be communicated via electronic media. Please ensure you are signed up to receive email blasts (see page 11 for instructions). The Lake Wales Post Office has dropped off hold mail forms for Residents that choose to hold their mail during this time. Forms are located in the Clubhouse Office. The contractors WILL be allowing access to mail couriers during construction. We suggest limiting deliveries of all kind during construction. There may be times delivery drivers will not have access to the roadway. Staff is working with Republic Services regarding trash pickup during construction and will disseminate information as it is available. BOWLING LANES REMINDERS • Open Bowling is available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. The lanes are available on a first come, first served basis on these days and leagues are not booked on these dates. • Reservations can be made by all residents on days that are not listed as open bowling. Please see Caroline Lane to reserve the number of lanes needed for Tuesday - Friday play. • Bowling shoes are required when using the bowling lanes. Please bring your own or use a pair from those provided near the entrance to the lanes. 12 • No one is allowed past the foul line or on a bowling lane at any time. • Proper bowling etiquette shall be adhered to at all times. The use of profanity or disruptive behavior is prohibited. • No food or drinks are allowed in the approach area. • If at any time the equipment fails to operate properly or your ball does not return, please contact staff or security (863-324-7290) for assistance. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RETRIEVE A BALL ON YOUR OWN • No one is allowed behind the pin setting machines without Amenities Manager’s permission. • Rosin bags are the only acceptable form of powder that can be used in the bowling lanes. • Return all balls and shoes to racks when you have finished bowling. • Guests must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 if under the age of eighteen (18). PET PLAY PARK REMINDERS • Please remember to pick up after your dog and dispose of the bags in the receptacles provided. • Put down all umbrellas prior to leaving the Pet Play Park. The umbrellas could be damaged during windy days. • The bags located in the dispensers at the Pet Play Parks and by the Clubhouse Tennis Courts are for use while at the Park or walking around the amenities only. Under no circumstance should users take large quantities of the bags for use outside of these areas. • To keep the grass in good shape users are encouraged to stop dogs from digging and fill any holes with the sand provided to ensure the grass stays in good shape for years to come.
