MIND&BODY LUNCH & LEARNS Window Tinting: Join friends and neighbors on October 16 at noon for an afternoon of refreshments learning about the benefits of tinting your home windows. TRIVIA Join us every Sunday in October at the Clubhouse Ballroom for Trivia! It is only a $1 and all funds go to the top 3 winning tables! Doors open at 6pm and the game starts promptly at 7pm. Teams of up to 8 players work together to answer the questions. Don’t worry if you don’t have a team; facilitators will gladly help you join a table. See you for Friends, Fun and Food on Sundays at Trivia! BEGINNING ASL CLASSES Instructor: Shelley Knee Tuesdays from 1 to 2 pm in the Clubhouse Craft Room through May 13, 2025. The third Tuesday of the month will be in the Game Room from 1 to 2 pm. Classes are free, but apps or any tools needed will be your responsibility. NEW DIABETES WORKSHOP A new workshop will be available for residents starting October 22 at 1 pm in the Clubhouse Game Room. The Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP) workshop is open to a minimum of 5 residents – maximum of 10 residents over 60 years of age. Sign up online or at the Clubhouse Activities Office. SELF-PROTECTION SEMINAR A self-protection seminar will be held October 8 at 6 pm in the HFC. This is a benefit for the The Lake Ashton Community Garden that is starting to take shape. This self-sustaining club is funded through donations and membership dues. The cost for the seminar is $10/person. LAKE ASHTON WOMEN' S BIBLE STUDY 38 The Lake Ashton Women's Bible Study begins another great year on Wednesdays at the HFC from 10 am to noon starting October 9. This year's course of study is the book of Job. It looks to be an enlightening study of Job, and the "art of suffering." Are aches and pains part of your season of life?
