GOING BATTY A high bat population can actually be extremely beneficial to humans. They save the US billions of dollars per year in pesticides, and play a significant role in the pollination of a variety of different plant species. Save the date: November 16 - Planting with Pollinators LAKE ASHTON MEN’S BIBLE STUDY - KICKOFF You are invited to join the interesting and thought provoking LA Men’s Bible Study Group that meets every Tuesday, with Fellowship from 10 to 10:30 am, and Discussion from 10:30 to noon. The group is nondenominational, with a goal of helping people to grow in understanding the Bible. Meet face-to-face at the HFC Craft Room or via a Zoom connection if you prefer not to meet face-to-face. This fall the group will be starting Romans, generally reading one chapter and discussing questions pertaining to that chapter. There is an open, positive, educational, and voluntary dialogue. You don’t need to be a theologian to join. You’ll find that as you examine your faith, you’ll learn more about God and yourself.
