LAII (WH) HOA/ARC CORNER By Connie Strassberg Our Annual Meeting to elect HOA Board members will be held on November 5 at 1 pm in the Health and Fitness Center (HFC) Community Room. The slate of candidates introduced at our October 1 meeting includes Rosemary Cranole, Robert Roy, Raymond Rudy and Richard Wright. There are three open seats: two regular two-year terms and one one-year term to fill a seat opened by a resignation. Board positions for the coming year will be assigned during the organizational meeting immediately following the election. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend and vote! The HOA has five flyer slots at the top of the flyer board at the Health and Fitness Center (HFC). These currently contain Email Contact Authorization forms and various informational flyers about the HOA and the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). We will soon add flyers about compliance. To ensure you receive email notifications from the LAII HOA, please submit a completed Email Authorization Form to our management company, Stambaugh, at 863-324-5100. You can pick up a copy from our flyer slots, fill out the requested information, and either mail it back to Stambaugh or place it in the white HOA mailbox at the HFC. Without your authorization, privacy laws prevent us from contacting you by email. The Lake Ashton II (WH) HOA website is https:// stambaugh.cincwebaxis.com. First-time users can click the “REGISTER” button in the upper-right corner of the page and follow the instructions. This is your website, so please use it! The LAII HOA Board of Directors meets on the first Thursday of each month at 1 pm at the HFC. Please check with the front desk for the meeting location. Upcoming meeting is scheduled for November 5. Agendas will be emailed to residents who have signed up for email notifications and will be available in our flyer slots once finalized. They will also be posted on TOLA and in our Facebook group, LA2 17 HOA/ARC INFO. West residents can join the group by submitting a request that includes their name and LA2 address. The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 1 pm at the HFC. Please check with the front desk for the meeting location. ADOPT-A-ROAD CLEANUP By Linda Sandel A Lake Ashton quarterly litter clean-up event is scheduled for Thompson Nursery Road on Thursday, November 12. Meet in the Clubhouse Ballroom beginning at 8:30 am to pick up trash bags, gloves, safety vests and trash grabbers. Volunteers receive a free t-shirt and Bok Tower ticket each calendar year. SAFEGUARD STORM DRAINS Please do not place yard debris and clippings on top or near stormwater inlets (as shown here). This could get into the stormwater system causing damage or clogging the system which could lead to localized flooding. The District, made up of Lake Ashton residents, are responsible for the maintenance of the stormwater system within Lake Ashton so damages come out of the budget which is largely funded by resident assessments. Let’s all work together to extend the life of our infrastructure. REMINDER TO RESIDENTS AND GUESTS: To maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all residents, no flyers, business cards, advertisements, promotional materials, or similar items may be posted, displayed, or left at any Lake Ashton amenities. This includes clubhouses, pools, fitness centers, bulletin boards, tables, counters, and other common areas. Unauthorized materials will be removed to ensure shared spaces remain uncluttered.
