Any questions regarding the General Election should be directed to the Polk County Supervisor of Elections at 863.534.5888. HAVE VISITORS? November is a traditional time for residents to host family and friends. Remember, when you see a visiting grandchild, they are guests of your neighbors so please extend every courtesy possible. Residents: please be tolerant of extra activity at the pool and other amenities. Those hosting family should remind them to be considerate of residents in this 55 and older community. It is helpful if a resident accompanies their guests at any of the amenities, but is not required. Anyone using amenities at the Clubhouse or HFC should have a Lake Ashton Resident Photo ID Card or Facilities Guest Pass. All guests can be registered at either Activities Desk during business hours. Residents can call security (number on page 3) to register their guests after hours. Renters must have a copy of their fully executed rental agreement. Renters that have a lease agreement of less than 90 days will be treated as guests, according to the Joint Amenity Facilities Policies posted on lakeashtoncdd.com or lakeashton2cdd.com. Visit 12 the Clubhouse Activities Office to get your resident amenity access card (which also serves as your Resident Photo ID Card) made during the published hours for distribution or by appointment. Bring a driver's license with your Lake Ashton address on it, or the warranty deed for your home. SECURITY TRANSITION UPDATE Staff at the Clubhouse and Health and Fitness Center (HFC) have been busy juggling normal day to day tasks and distribution of RFID tags and Amenity Access cards to over 3,000 residents. To put in perspective there are a total of five staff members among the two locations to accomplish this enormous task. We appreciate residents' patience during this time and are grateful for the encouraging words received by residents. The initial distribution period ends on November 8 for RFID tags at the HFC for Winter Haven residents and RFID tags/Amenity Access Cards at the Clubhouse for Lake Wales Residents. If you missed this deadline please stay tuned to email blasts to find out when you can come in to get your credentials. Winter Haven residents will come to the Clubhouse starting November 21 to receive their Amenity Access Cards. Be ready to take a picture and complete another application (top portion only) to receive your Amenity Access Card. Each household will receive up to two (2) cards per household (one per resident) and will have to pay $10 per card for any additional cards. A schedule will be released soon via email to let everyone know when their street can come to the Clubhouse to get their Amenity Access Card(s). Once Winter Haven Residents have received their Amenity Access Cards, staff at the Clubhouse and HFC will release a schedule for residents who missed the initial distribution to come to the Clubhouse and/or HFC to receive their Amenity Access Cards and RFID tags. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition.
