Membership is $10 per person per year, or three years for $25. The money is used for pickleball events, balls, windsocks, and various court equipment, etc. To join the club, simply stop by the LA Clubhouse (not HFC) and fill out the membership form and bring a check made out to LAPA. If you haven’t been by the pickleball courts lately, you need to stop by and see the beautiful newly resurfaced courts! A new net was also installed on Court 3. The club is very thankful the LAIICDD agreed to improve this very popular community amenity. If you are new to Lake Ashton or new to pickleball and want to learn the game, Dennis Santino will be offering a “Newbie Clinic” on November 7 and 14 from 11 am to 12:30 pm on Courts 3 & 4. He has asked that attendees be able to attend both sessions. Space is limited to the first 12 who sign up! Sign up by emailing Coach Dennis at coachdennis@myyahoo.com Paddles will be provided. The LAPA annual meeting is planned for November 30 at the Clubhouse beginning at 5 pm with a potluck dinner and the meeting to follow.
