Residents who would like to receive electronic news blasts from the Clubhouse and Health & Fitness Center (HFC), Eagle’s Nest, and/or the Pro Shop can easily sign up by scanning the QR code at left. These email updates are a great way to stay informed about events, schedule changes, special programs, and important announcements. If you’re searching for Community Development District (CDD) board meeting dates, agendas, minutes, or Supervisor contact information, both CDD websites are readily accessible. Simply scan the top left QR code to visit http:// www.lakeashtoncdd.com and the bottom left QR code to visit http:// www.lakeashton2cdd.org. NEW GUIDELINES AND SUBMISSION PROCESS FOR ARTICLES & EMAIL BLASTS As community participation continues to grow, we are pleased to see so many residents, clubs, and organizations contributing content for the newsletter and requesting community email announcements. To help ensure fairness, consistency, and accuracy, updated guidelines and a new submission process are being implemented. All newsletter submissions are edited as needed to fit available space and to maintain consistency, clarity, and compliance with district communication policies. To maintain a cohesive publication design, resident-created layouts such as PowerPoint slides, posters, flyers, or custom artwork cannot be published directly. When this type of content is submitted, the information may be converted into a standard article format or recreated by staff in a style consistent with the newsletter’s design standards. 16 To improve organization and ensure no requests are missed, a new submission system allowing residents and groups to submit newsletter articles and requests for email blasts will be available March 2 on https://www.lakeashtoncdd.com. These forms create a centralized tracking log that allows multiple staff members to verify submissions and confirm they are processed appropriately. Using the website forms will be the preferred method for all future submissions and email blast requests. Revised submission guidelines will be posted on the website to provide clear expectations regarding word limits, formatting, deadlines, and content requirements. These updates are intended to create a transparent and consistent process that serves the entire community. We appreciate the time and effort residents put into sharing information and helping keep neighbors informed. Appointments are estimated to be about 15-30 minutes each. There may be technology inquiries that will need to be referred to a third party company for further assistance. The instructors will provide you with vendor suggestions* should the need arise. Volunteers are also needed.
