Lake Ashton Clubhouse Ballroom 4141 Ashton Club Drive Lake Wales, FL 33859 Lake Ashton residents are invited to the Clubhouse Ballroom for the first-ever Senior Expo where we will have a wide variety of vendors that cater to senior needs. The vendors participating in the Expo range in expertise such as local public safety organizations, travel agents, financial planning, health & fitness, and so much more. This free event will take place March 15 from 10 am to noon. LA CRUISE-IN RESCHEDULED! MARCH 16 2 — 5 pm Join us for the rescheduled date for this FREE event March 16 from 2 pm to 5 pm in the Clubhouse West Parking Lot. Enjoy food trucks, classic and modern cars alike, and live music from Southbound. We will be judging cars and presenting the winners of each category with a prize. The categories are Best Classic (pre-1989), Best Modern (post-1989), and Crowd Favorite winners will receive a ribbon and a gift card! Registration ends on March 8. Car owners should sign up online by scanning the QR code on page above or at the Clubhouse Activities Office. If you are attending the event, please be advised that parking will only be available in the east parking lot and golf cart parking will be in the circle drive. 24 The LA Purple Stars is once again hosting a St. Paddy's Day Party on March 17 from 7 to 10 pm in the Community Room of the HFC. This is a fundraiser for our team to benefit the American Cancer Society and everyone is invited. Tickets are $10 and on sale at the HFC, with cash or check payable to LA Purple Stars. DJ Wayne will provide great dance music and, of course, some Irish tunes. Don't forget you can bring your favorite food and beverage. Any questions call David Harrison at 863-326-6418. KARAOKE Sing your heart out at Karaoke in the Ballroom on March 27! $5 tickets are available for purchase online or at the Clubhouse Activities Office. Karaoke moves to Charm City in April. Stay tuned for more information. EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE By Debby Landgrebe Rejoice and celebrate the blessing of Resurrection Sunday on Easter, March 31. Bring your golf carts, blankets, family, friends, visitors and neighbors and most of all bring your heart prepared to sing praises to the Risen Lord and be filled with abundant joy! Come early as Service will begin promptly at 7 am at the Clubhouse garden/ lawn overlooking Lake Ashton. Gather to hear a local pastor and sing wonderful Easter hymns. For those planning to attend their own church service, the Sunrise Service will conclude by 8 am. Seating will be available as well as golf cart parking. An offering will be taken. Everyone is welcome, regardless of belief. We certainly have many reasons to be thankful. Hope to see you Easter Sunday.
