NEW YORK GROUP By Joyce Notarnicola Greetings to all neighbors from New York! The March event will be held at the HFC Community Center at 5:30 pm on March 23. Bring an appetizer (for about 8 people) and $2 per person for paper products. After appetizers are served and enjoyed there will be some quick ice breaker activities & games followed by Ice Cream Sundaes provided by the hosts (Sandy, Deirdre, Joyce & Jo). SINGLES CLUB By Maureen Ziegler LA Singles is a social group that plans activities for single residents that meets monthly on the first Sunday of the month at 2 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. In February, several new members were welcomed, and the group discussed future events. Carol Corley arranged a luncheon at L’Incontro Italian Restaurant on February 24. Sil Wells offered several fun suggestions including Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland. Suzanne Harris suggested attending the Lake Wales Little Theater Production of Bingo, The Musical. A Living Waters Boat cruise of the Chain of Lakes will be arranged in April. The Single Mingle is held on the third Thursday of the month at 4 pm in the Pavilion (March 16). If you would like to take part in activities with other singles, attend the next meeting on March 5.
