New bus trips for the remainder of the year have been released. Sign up at the Clubhouse Activities Office with a check. All trips include roundtrip transportation, tax, and driver gratuity. Lake Ashton BusTrips CAMP LAKE ASHTON Camp Counselors are gearing up for our annual Camp Lake Ashton! Be sure to keep an eye out for the summer camp fun that the Clubhouse and HFC will be featuring during the month of August this year. You won't want to miss it! HAUNTING II ON THE LAKE By Terri McDuff LAPAC is very excited to announce this years’ Halloween Fundraiser event, Haunting II On the Lake on October 28. This event will again be one of our best as it is featuring a Haunted House Maze inside of the Lake Ashton Clubhouse Ballroom! Yes, we have had a haunted house previously but nothing like the one we will have this year. Tickets will go on sale in early October: $15 for adults and $10 for children. The event will run from 4 to 9 pm with limited timeslots every half hour, allowing groups of no more than 35 people per time slot to move through the Ballroom safely while experiencing a little fear and adrenaline as well as getting tricked or given treats. We will also have a time slot dedicated specifically for those needing special accommodations. Be prepared to expect the unexpected to happen! Join in the fun by dressing up in your own costume as well! To prepare for the event, we are looking for volunteers to help with set design, tech support, acting, dancing, costumes, etc. Anyone interested, please contact Terri McDuff at 916-201-7745. 2023 CHRISTMAS DINNER DANCE By Debby Landgrebe & Lynn Shelton During the upcoming sunny hot summer nights think about sleigh bells and the fabulous annual resident-sponsored Lake Ashton Christmas Dinner Dance coming on Friday, December 1, 2023. It may seem a bit early but this event sells out quickly and will be here before you know it. The Christmas Dinner Dance will be in the beautifully decorated Clubhouse Ballroom. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there. There will be live music, delicious food, time with new friends and old along with lots of fun!
