LA ROCS & PEBBLES POTLUCK By Amity Kokochak The next LA ROCS (Riviera, Oakmont, Colonial and Sawgrass) and “Pebbles” (6016-6048 Pebble Beach Blvd.) Social will be held on July 8 at 6 pm in the HFC Community Center. This is a potluck dinner so please bring an entrée, salad, side dish or dessert, large enough to serve eight people. Bring your own beverages, plates and utensils. Thirty people attended on June 10. It was a nice opportunity for new residents to introduce themselves and tell everyone where they are from. Those who are currently building but have not actually moved into their new home are welcome to join as well. Looking forward to the next social and greeting more neighbors and new friends! The usual day is the second Thursday of the month, but if there is a change it will be in the LA Times and Talk of Lake Ashton. L AVA A U X I L I A R Y By Chris Graves SAVE THE DATE: THE CRAFT FAIR IS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23 The Craft Fair is a fundraiser which will benefit Veterans. All proceeds from the Craft Fair are earmarked for Habitat for Humanity’s “Tiny Homes for Veterans Project.” More than 40 vendors have already signed up and there will be lots of lotto money! There will be one raffle tree with three chances to win! Each winner will win $100 worth of scratch off lottery tickets! Please come support the veterans and take the opportunity to purchase unique, hand-crafted items including metal art work, crocheted items, not to mention you could be one of the lucky winners of a Lotto Tree and/or other raffle items. There will be no meetings in July and August. The next meeting will be September 15 at 6:30 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom near the front stage. Enjoy the Summer!
