SINGLES GROUP By Maureen Ziegler The LA Singles group plans activities for Lake Ashton residents who are single. The group usually meets monthly on the first Sunday of the month at 2 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom but this month will meet July 11 at 2 pm in the Clubhouse Card Room because the first Sunday is July 4. In May, the singles went to the rodeo at River Ranch. In June, the group made plans to cruise the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. If you would like to join in activities with other single individuals, attend the meeting on July 11. LA BELLES By Noreen Guy Greetings LA Belles! The first luncheon last month was a festive and happy occasion celebrating the ladies of Lake Ashton and welcoming new LA Belles! Everyone is finally back catching up with friends, sharing birthdays, anniversaries and with a few surprises from time-to-time. This month’s luncheon will be at the Sizzling Grill on July 28 at 1 pm. The sign-up sheet will be at the Clubhouse Activities Desk, along with the menu and cost (gratuities and tax included). After your selection make your check out to the LA Belles.
