GOLF LALGA By Dawn Neigh The New Year has begun with many upcoming events for the LALGA. Our Solheim Cup is planned for January 15th and 16th. The always fun pairing party will be on January 9th. Mark your calendars! Will it be Go Red! Or Go Blue!? Our East West Tournament will be held January 30th. Last year’s inaugural event was a great success with the East claiming bragging rights. Will the East do it again or will the West be victorious? Watch for more information and sign up according to your side of Lake Ashton. Our Member/Member tournament is in February with “18 Shades of Green”! Start planning with your partner for a challenging and fun two days! Our Red Hoagland challenge continues to be a tight race. Liz Leigh is in the lead by $30. However, second through fourth are only $10 apart with Dori Krogman, Dixie Kite, and Bev Hines. And speaking of Bev Hines, a huge thank you to Bev for taking on the role of the LALGA Publicity chair. Please join me in welcoming Bev to your board and thank her for agreeing to commit her time and talents to this role. See you on Tuesdays! LA NINERS By Marti Schmidt Sassy Santa showed up to the Holiday party, gave out some gifts, and a good time was had by all. If you were unable to attend our holiday luncheon, we still have your gift. Just ask a board member at your next round of Tuesday golf. And a big thanks to all of Santa’s helpers who made it an event to remember.
