Being a good neighbor is an important aspect of the Lake Ashton lifestyle. Please keep the following policy reminders in mind. Contact Christine Wells, LACDD Community Director, or Karen Van Kirk, LAIICDD Community Director, with any questions. DOGS AT THE AMENITIES Per the Joint Amenity Facilities Policy, dogs and all other pets (with the exception of service dogs) are not permitted at the Amenity Facilities. This includes the Restaurant Patio and other outdoor amenities. If you are planning on coming to the Amenities for any reason please keep this policy in mind. If a service dog is in the Amenities without a vest on, Security or Staff will assume it is a pet and will inform you of this policy. Please be patient as they are simply following protocol. The Joint Amenity Facilities Policy also states that patrons are responsible for picking up after all pets and disposing of any waste in a designated pet waste receptacle or an outdoor dumpster as a courtesy to residents. Please keep this in mind when walking your dog around the Clubhouse and HFC amenities. Doggy bags and a throw-away station are located on the pathway on the West side of the Clubhouse Tennis Courts and at all Pet Play Parks. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT THE CLUBHOUSE Charm City at Lake Ashton holds the liquor license to serve and sell alcoholic beverages at the Clubhouse, which means no outside alcoholic beverages can be brought into the Clubhouse and surrounding outdoor amenities. If restaurant staff, Clubhouse staff, or Security Officers notice any outside alcoholic beverages being brought in, they will ask the offenders to take it out of the building. Further violations of this policy will result in being asked to leave the facility or event, up to and including suspension of amenity facilities privileges. This is very important as this is deemed a violation of the liquor license that is in place and could potentially jeopardize the current license at the Clubhouse. LOST AND FOUND If you have lost anything at the Clubhouse or surrounding area, stop by the Clubhouse Office during posted office hours to check Clubhouse Lost and Found to see if it has been turned in. Lost and Found items will frequently be displayed at Monday Coffee and may be donated to local charities if not claimed. RESIDENT PHOTOS AND ARTWORK ON DI SPLAY AT THE CLUBHOUSE Be sure to stop by the Clubhouse Hallway near the Card Room to view the artwork on display for the month. In the month of January the photography winners of the 2024 Fine Arts and Photography Show were on display. In February be sure to stop by and see the winners of the Fine Arts portion of the show. See page 30 for more information on the 2025 show. SEASONAL QUI LTS ON DISPLAY AT THE CLUBHOUSE Lake Ashton is full of many talented Residents and we try to put that talent on display whenever possible. In the Clubhouse main hallway near the Card Room the Creative Quilters display a handmade quilt made by putting together squares made by the individual members of the group. This quilt is changed out seasonally and is displayed on a quilt rack made by the Lake Ashton Woodworkers Group. Stop by and admire the quilt that is on display. Please do not touch the quilt.
