LAMGA By Paul Fichtman November’s featured event was “Beat the Board” held on November 9. The format was “2 Best Nets”. The Board scored 129 and was surpassed by 4 out of 9 foursomes who posted scores of 121, 124, 124 and 126, respectively. Mark your calendars! The Annual Meeting/Luncheon is being held on Wednesday, December 7 immediately following that day’s LAMGA event. Please note that all LAMGA members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting and Luncheon, even if you are not able to play in that day’s event. There were three open seats on the LAMGA Board for 2023 and three candidates nominated themselves to serve on the Board. This situation dictated that there was not a need to hold the election and that the three nominated candidates would be installed on the board. The new Board members will be announced and introduced at the Annual Meeting/Luncheon. This month the following Insurance and Financial Service providers are thanked for their unstinting support of the Member/Guest tournament: Amerity Financial (Burris Warner); Chris Bruser – Reverse Mortgage Specialist, Mutual of Omaha; Christine Graves Insurance, Inc.; Element Funding; and Zinsmeister Insurance. You can find a list of all our sponsors posted on the LAMGA web site, Lake Ashton Living, and Talk of Lake Ashton. Please support them with your business. These four winners will receive $80, $60, $40 & $20, respectively in Pro Shop credits. Thanks, as always, to Red Hoagland Hyundai for their multi-year sponsorship of this very popular annual contest. Please consider Red Hoagland Hyundai the next time you are looking to purchase a vehicle.
