LAVA AUXILIARY By Lori Thomas The Lake Ashton Veterans Association Auxiliary (LAVAA) invites all Lake Ashton residents to our annual Craft Fair on Saturday, October 24 in the Clubhouse Ballroom. This year's event will feature 47 talented vendors, including a few new vendors, all offering unique handcrafted items. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking ahead for holiday gifts, you're sure to find something special while supporting local artisans and our soldiers. The LAVA Auxiliary will also be accepting baked good donations for our popular craft fair bake sale. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity Lake Ashton residents have shown in past years. Your homemade donations have played an important role in helping the Auxiliary reach fundraising goals, and we sincerely appreciate your continued support. Members have fun creating unique pieces that are beautiful, fun or clever and completely one of a kind!To join the LA Ceramic Chics, stop by any Wednesday at the HFC Craft Room, 8 am to 1 pm. No experience necessary! Everything needed to get started is available along with lots of guidance and friendly crafters willing to help. After you spend a class or two with us and determine you like ceramics, membership is $20 annually for kiln supplies and maintenance - no charge to members for firing of projects - NO LIMIT.
