JEWISH HIGH HOLIDAY SERVICES By David Harrison The Lake Ashton community is invited to attend the Jewish High Holiday services. Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) will be Friday, September 11 at 7 pm in the HFC Community Center. Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) will be Sunday September 20 at 7 pm in the HFC Community Room. Yizkor (Memorial Service) will also be Sunday following the Yom Kippur Service. All residents are encouraged to attend and find out why the New Year is celebrated in September.
