PINK RIBBON DANCE & GOLF TOURNAMENT By Lydia Fichtman October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — mark your calendars for October 13 at 7 pm for the Pink Ribbon Dance and November 9 for the Golf Tournament. Dance tickets go on sale at the HFC beginning September 1. You may reserve a table for $10. Advanced ticket purchases are $10 per person and $15 at the door the night of the dance. 100% of all tickets will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida. All Lake Ashton registered golfers may sign up at for the Golf Tournament at the Pro Shop beginning September 15. Beginning October 6, guests of Lake Ashton golf members may register if there is space available. You may sign up as a foursome, a pair or individually. The Member fee is $45 and the Member Guest fee is $75 which includes a round of golf, lunch and a donation to BCFCF. Sponsorships are available from $50-$1,000. Interested sponsors can download a form from the Lake Ashton website. Thank you to all who have already donated. Volunteers are needed for the golf tournament. PETS ON PARADE By Carolyn Bishop The Second Annual Pets on Parade will be held on Thursday, October 31 at 10 am in the Clubhouse West Parking Lot (tennis court side). Pre-registration will start October 1 — only preregistered pets will receive a goodie bag. Stay tuned to media for more details. It will be filled with music by DJ Wayne, so get your dance shoes ready! The night will include an opportunity to bid on items of a silent auction, win prizes by participating in a table decoration contest, games, 50/50 raffle and many more fun activities. Tickets go on sale in late September for $10/person. Note: LAPAC (Lake Ashton Performing Arts Corporation) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds of the event will support the 2025 Spring Showcase with costume design, stage design, sound and lighting equipment and many other items.
