During this time, many residents choose to go on vacation or return to their homes in the North. This transition is a familiar pattern, as the community shifts from the high activity of the winter season to a more relaxed summer period. While some residents may pause their regular activities during this time, the HFC will continue to offer a full schedule of events and programs throughout the summer. There will be no reduction in activities; residents who remain can look forward to ongoing opportunities for engagement and recreation. Please mark your calendar for the upcoming Lake Ashton II Community Development District Meeting. This important meeting is scheduled for April 16 at 9 am in the HFC Community Center. Attending the meeting provides an opportunity for community members to stay informed about district matters, participate in discussions, and connect with neighbors. Your involvement helps support the continued growth and well-being of Lake Ashton. Lake Ashton residents are invited to spend an enjoyable evening featuring live music performed by the Good Stuff Band, scheduled for April 10 from 6 to 9 pm. To complement the evening popular food trucks “Perez Gut” and “Something Different” will be on site from 3:30 to 6:30 PM. Both offer a variety of food including Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs with special toppings. Bring your friends and neighbors. You do not want to miss this lively night of entertainment and great food. Be on the lookout for announcements about “Lake Ashton’s 250th USA Anniversary Celebration”, communitywide event taking place at both the Clubhouse and the HFC. Some of the activities that will make up this historic celebration include a gala golf cart parade, food trucks featuring a variety of menu items, and a lively dance. Not only will an official proclamation take place in front of Lake Ashton’s Memorial, but there will be activities leading up to the 4th of July including an All American Summer Night at the Clubhouse outdoor pool. Stay tuned to media in May for details. There is so much more to come! Lake Ashton 2 CDD would like to extend our heartfelt best wishes to all residents who will soon be returning to their other homes. We wish you safe travels and a wonderful time until you return. Your presence in our community is genuinely appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you back when you return for the next season. 10
