The combination of talent, album sales, longevity and cultural influence must culminate into a winning combination for that type of consideration. However, what I am saying is we need not be so quick to abandon any artist that gave us life on a high-speed, lyrical level with two classic albums and an unparalleled ability to go ape-shit on a track that can attract the ears of school students, hustlers, chocolate fe’s, redbones, peanut butter and my caramel girls at the same time.
