Client Case Study This dramatic seascape room has been transformed into a cosy retreat for lounging about and reading. This is the 8th room in this clien home that we have transformed! I have so much appreciation for them trusting my judgement, giving me free reign to explore new ideas and enhancing my creativity. I am delighted to now call them my friends and love spending time with them discussing home decoration and interiors. The largest statement in the room is the wonderful landscape painting with teals, midnight blues, emerald and bottle greens. The design was created using the painting as our focal and a cosy and relaxed beach vibe was created! The pelmet over the window recreates the dramatic rolling hills in the image. We chose a natural Silma silk, colour Harbour, which has an almost linen texture to it, keeping with the theme of the natural linen and cotton fibres in the sofa. The star of the show and lightens the room is the Vienne Seaglass silk by James Hare. Its unique texture is luxurious and fluid and almost metallic in some lights, adding a touch of femininity and balance to the room.
