A LOOK at the FAMILIES YOU HELPED in 2018 The families Eagle Ranch serves reflect the types of families in Georgia and across the United States today. In Georgia, 45 percent of children are born to unwed parents. More than 112,000 Georgia grandparents are the primary caregivers for their grandchildren. Fifty percent of the 60 million children under the age of 13 in the U.S. are currently living with one biological parent and that parent’s current partner.
