Ekene Okonkwo Supported Learning Ekene is a charming young man who has progressed significantly since starting College in 2013. He has developed his communication skills and is always cheerful and willing to try new things. He was one of our cross-college Students of the Year in 2016 and is back with us this year, hoping to develop the skills to progress to a Supported Internship programme at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He has learned lots of skills from participating in Enterprise sessions such as cooking and gardening, and is pictured here serving at a College function. Aaron O’Shea Football Academy Member “The reason I chose to go onto this course is because I love football and want to have a career in the game, even if it’s not playing it could be coaching.” “I am an active individual who enjoys playing di fferent sports, especially football. Since I started this course it has re-motivated me to gain a good qualification in sports science and go on to work in something I enjoy doing.
