SUNCORP NATURAL DISASTER GRANTS The Confident Girls Foundation is proud to partner with Suncorp to support netball communities impacted by natural disasters, with $100 from every Super Shot contributing directly to relief and recovery efforts. Together, we provide targeted grants to clubs and associations navigating the challenges of rebuilding following events such as floods, bushfires and other disruptions. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to building resilient communities, ensuring girls can stay connected to sport during times of uncertainty. Through netball, these grants help restore not only facilities and participation opportunities, but also a sense of belonging, confidence and stability for girls as they continue to grow on and off the court. The impact of this partnership is best reflected in the voices of the communities it supports, with grant recipients highlighting both immediate recovery and long-term resilience. 16 | Western Districts Netball Association shared, “We’re incredibly grateful for the funding, which allowed us to fix ongoing flooding issues in our canteen… now we can confidently use the space for storage without the worry.” Herbert River Netball Association noted, “The flooding caused significant damage to our clubhouse and canteen… Thanks to the funding, we’ve been able to replace key items… It’s made an incredible difference to getting our association back up and running.” Nambucca Valley Netball Association added, “We’re so grateful for the support, which allowed us to pressure clean our courts and purchase adjustable junior posts… It’s made a huge difference for our whole netball community.” Together, these outcomes demonstrate that beyond physical repairs, the grants play a vital role in restoring confidence, participation, and community connection across netball communities.
